okay.
Antonio is better as a cute little orange cat than as Zorro. That way I can hear his sexy voice and not have to see him...

Those stupid allergy commercials with that damned bee have kind of ruined everything though.

Um, can everyone go see Serenity? Like, now?

It's fantastic, and I'm not just saying that as a huge (er, psycho) fan of the show that spawned it, Firefly. You don't need any knowledge whatsoever of the show to completely understand (and love) the movie. I think it's the best sci-fi movie since...well... ever, but what do I know? It's got a great rating on rottentomatoes- in the 80s!*&@!- and so many reviewers are accurately assessing it as the next Star Wars in terms of its spaghetti western type vibe and the message underlying it all. It's fantastic.

I loved this movie. Hence the psycho GO SEE IT OR I'LL CUT YOU type post here.

Orson Scott Card wrote a great review of the movie right here- http://www.hatrack.com/osc/reviews/e...30-extra.shtml

Question Movies?

What are movies? LOL

The last time I was at a movie theater, it was to watch the Keith Urban concert DVD. What does THAT tell ya?

Last movie I saw at a theater...uhhhh...hmm...errrr....The Incredibles? Dang, that was a long, freakin' time ago.

I wanted to see Batman and The 40-Year-Old-Virgin, but never made it to see those. Have to wait until the DVD's come out, I guess.

I'm not really a big movie person either, but my boyfriend is. He likes going to the movies all the time- and honestly I couldn't be bothered with it. But then I don't want to hurt him and I give in, which means me sitting through many very long, violent "action" films that I personally hate. But I really, really loved History of Violence...a lot. Could be Viggo, but even that greatness has to have a little more to get me.

And 40 Year Old Virgin is really funny. I liked it a lot. The guy in the movie was hillarious.

Exclamation Lol

That bee commercial makes me laugh. When I first saw it, I was like "Is that? No, couldn't be him." LOL

I love comedies and action movies. I'm such a 12 year old boy.

I don't like to go that much either but I do want to see Elizabethtown. Ironicallly I just got some free movie tickets from work yesterday. Now I can use those next week or maybe not. Not sure if I can use them the first 2 weeks of a run.

Hayley, you're usually pretty right-on with your recommendations... or maybe we have similar tastes? I'll go see it.

Yay!! Let me know what you think. I'm really fascinated how non Firefly fans end up liking it... so far, everyone I've talked to has totally flipped over it.

I'm going to go see Serenity again today, and maybe A History of Violence too.

The last movie I saw was Flight Plan, which was incredibly predictable. What a waste of money.

Talking Movies- Movies Movies

I love movies- but I prefer watching them at home.
You know the story...own seat-own munchies-own time- it's just easier..

And I like watching older movies (2-3 years),as oppossed to new releases, The ones that were never really big at the box office...
but never -the- less- are good movies.
Just saw this picture called:
"Till Human Voices Wake Us" (
The line is from a TS Eliot poem and the movie was excellent.
I am still thinking-enchanted-pondering the whole 2 hours... I could see it again Anyone else see it??
(I had never heard anything about it-The title intrigued me-that is why I picked it up)

Movies are like opening a good book and losing yourself for a few hours in someone else's drama...It's like a book with pictures
...sometimes I am so intellectual...just can't stand it...

Oh, I've heard of that one. It's with Guy Pearce, yes? I've always intended on renting it. Thanks for reminding me

Saw it last night. Boring. Wish I saw 40-Year-Old-Virgin instead, but my dad wanted to see Flightplan. I walked out going "Is that it?"
