[QUOTE=LiquidBlue5000]
All in all, she seemed to be really happy out there today.. I didn't really know what to expect this morning and really didn't have any expectations on her.. But she seemed to be in good spirits and it definately showed in her performance... vocally she sounded great, and was very much in the moment..

I just finished watching my tape from this AM, and I have to say this. For any of us who were worried about her or had any doubts about her rebounding from her Dad's death in timely fashion, whoa! I thought she looked and sounded great! She really seemed to feed off of the crowd and to have a helluva time up there on the stage--it's obvious that she LOVES singing live and loves her fans, and will probably be touring and singing til she's on her last pair of Reeboks

Also, to any of you Ledgies who were there----can you describe yourselves or point out where you were in the tape? I'd love to meet you all by seeing you on the video

Martha

You mean she's no longer in danger of dropping dead from kinda mean criticism from disloyal fans? Thank God!

I wish I could have been there. It sounds awesome!

Is anyone else still mad about how they didn't show the twirls during Standback? The director needs to be fired!

Default "Lily" means "Pure"

Would like to post this quote from "Go Ahead Lily (Hit it...)" for
obvious reasons -

"She's home now;
She says, 'I've gone far beyond that song.'
She says, 'rock and roll ballerina -
Where else would she go?'
He knows his daughter, says...
Where does she live?
He says, 'Oh, up there somewhere.'

Then he says, 'Go ahead, lily
Hit it,
Hit the stage, dancin'...go on.'"

Ain't that just EXACTLY what the Belladonna Lily just did????

Thanks all for the reviews and the links, European fans wouldn't survive to the curiosity without the always brilliant and active US Ledgies .

Stevie was great, I loved Stand Back and Landslide moved me, it was sometime it hadn't happened.

Here, here!

Okay, I managed to spot Brian. But the guy with the long hair 5 or 6 rows out who was really giving out a performance all on his own, who was he?

Btw, Brooke Shields scared me indeed.

Not really. They are twirls. She twirls a lot. It's not the end of the world. Besides, you could see her twirling the background.

Did you notice that virtually everyone in the audience was singing along with her, and so into the whole thing with her? What kind of artist has that kind of a presence with their fans, you know? It's so great to see that.

If I can host anything you'd like to put up, remember I'm always happy to do that, bandwidth willing! I'm so glad you got to be there!!!
The audience was awesome, obviously big fans. I should have gone down there! Damn me! Oh well hopefully there will be a next time.

My Dad is going to love the first camera shot of the birds at the beginning of Stand Back.

I was riveted this morning, after all these years, still am and always will be.
