I realized last night in my original post about her SYW songs I forgot to include Everybody Finds Out which in my opinion is her best song on there. I love this song, although I heard she didn't write the music, only the lyrics (is that true?). Now THAT is a passionate and energetic song with great lyrics. "When love starts out in the darkness, it doesn't do well in the light".

How do we know FM is touring next year? Has this been confirmed?

You are so wise, sister. Let's fling our hearts out against Jason together!

BTW, Towie, let's just dump DA.

I truly cannot stand that song. It's so lifeless, I feel like I'm drifting into a coma when I hear it.

My favorites are Smile At You and Goodbye Baby. Her material was pretty weak overall on that record, but those two are quite marvelous.

How I wish I still had that kind of optimism.

Lifeless is an understatement! I'm glad someone agrees with me that her SYW material was weak. You don't like EFO? At least she's got some spunk on that one. I think that is her best on there...

I like the vocal on Everybody Finds Out and think it's somewhat enjoyable as a song, but I also find it very cheesy and silly.

As a whole, it is weaker than TISL... however, "Thrown Down", "Illume" and "Not Make Believe" are imo, the 3 best tracks from SYW.. "Thrown Down", with its simple production, was very well done.. "Illume", for being probably the most non-Stevie sounding song in her career, and "Not Make Believe", just because

Not Make Believe doesn't count since it's a bonus track , sorry Brian.
Just kinding. For real though that song should have been included over a lot of the other songs. It is such an upbeat, happy song with a great feel. I put it on when I'm feeling down and it makes me feel happy. I have it in my head right now "And then there are the things that cast the doubt away, the things that made me stay for so long". It's simple but a really great song IMO. Too bad it was left out.

I adore Thrown Down. It makes my heart ache when I hear the opening guitar. "Wellllllll you can dedicate your paaain to him..." Love it.

Illume is a real gem too.

The Stevie SYW song I don't like much is Silver Girl. SYW & Goodbye Baby - eh. I'm indifferent. They're OK. The rest are aces.

Really you like it that much? I'm just not feeling the music and I don't like her delivery. I do however love these lines:
"Faith is a hard thing to hold on to
Something inside you says I don't have to
You're not like other people, you do what you want to"

Beautiful!
