Well, having seen her perform live thrice times in the past 6 years, I can say without a doubt that her voice is no where near where it once was...

I like it better now because it's richer and more flexible, but it's a matter of opinion. I think it's a better instrument than it was twenty years ago, especially on the Jazz Passengers material.

You're gonna love it. It's really, really a great piece.

He did a a few large format 3x4' format too of Harry for a kick ass show in LA last year. It was sold for 2K. It was unbelievable. The paper, the piece was a true original.

Did you used to post on Burnish?
Yes! Were you there too? I was off forums for a long time after Burnish closed. Then found my way here and recognized some of you from burnish. I went by 'LoveBug.'

And I do recall telling that story there as well. It was quite an experience.

Two grand?!

There's a shop here in Boston that sells all kinds of movie memorbilia and when I was there last year, I found the old lightbox promo for her KooKoo album. Brand new in the box, never taken out for use, but it didn't have a price on it. I waited a week for the owners to look at it and price it, and they called me to tell me they wanted $1,700 for it. I obviously didn't pay that ridiculous amount and I ended up getting it off of eBay back in March for $20 shipped. The guy I bought it from even threw in a stack of promo CDs and acetates for "No Exit" and "Curse" for nothing.

I used to post there a little but not often. Lovebug, I remember you now!
I thought that story sounded familiar!
Wow, Burnish seems so long ago now.

The Pretenders, it's the band I've been listening to the most among those three. Besides Chrissie Hynde is a class act.

Yeah...2K. It is a fine art piece. He only handmade a few of them and they are slightly different from one another, but with using the stencil of Harry then building on top of that.

The one for sale is a screenprint, so it has some texture to it. Screenprints are such a fascinating process and a lot of work. Let me know what you think when you get it! And look forward to a lot of compliments from peeps who see it. Shepard Fairey is an artist to collect. Once the original 300 are gone, they're gone. No re-runs will ever happen. Some of his earlier pieces that you could buy for $30. and are now long sold out have gone into the thousands in value.

While I love Chrissie and Debbie, Ann's got the pipes. I was watching Cal Jam 2 the other night and Heart was hot, hot, hot. Ann was wearing boots with higher heels than Stevie's. And I've got to give props to Nancy as well. Their set was a true snapshot of rock and roll in that time period. Their lead guitarist was plaing a 12 string, Nancy an acoustic and the stage clothes were fantastic. Not to mention Ann was hitting high notes that made my hair stand on end.

Had to go with the Wilson sisters. Not that into Blonide, though Diss is trying to convert me. I love Chrissie, but I have a big connection to Heart. Can't help my Pacific Northwest self. This was a tough one.

Well, I got you to like "Orchid Club," so that's a start.

I know you have it because you sent it to me. I'll see if I can find it.

Well, there you go, I wasn't dreaming. I was convinced that was the show where she shouted "Rock on, mother****ers, rock on" during Heart of Glass.

Did you ever end up downloading that show on Dime? Poet's Problem makes me weak in the knees. "This is an intellectual song." And I love hearing that early version of Fan Mail with different lyrics and a different name (For Money, No Love).

I remember something like that. I'll have to listen to it again.
