Default Help with Video Collection, Please

I'm trying to build my Stevie/FM video (or DVD) collection. Can you guys offer some suggestions? Right now all I have is Stevie at Red Rocks, The Dance, The Rumours thingie, and...yes, that's it (sad for a fan of 20+ years, I know- but I'm older now and have a little more money).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This puts me in mind for a great new thread.

Lots of TV programs & interviews with FM over the years have sort of disappeared from sight. We need a thread devoted to tracking down these long-lost gems & compiling them on video/DVD for all to enjoy today!!

I'd line up for that for sure. I have quite a bit, but would love to organize it better.

Speaking of Fleetwood Mac DVD compilations, I never did hear what happened with that compilation Ken Caillat had The Penguin start that petition for. Do you know, David? I notice that the petition is still up on the site, and stalled at about 7500 signatures.

Personally, I always thought the petition idea was rather silly. Surely Reprise knows there's a market out there for this kind of thing without attempting to gauge it through an online petition on a fan website. With so many lesser bands (at least in terms of record sales) releasing all kinds of DVDs with music videos and concert footage and other such things, it's just stupid that a band like Fleetwood Mac hasn't released anything like this.

I completely agree. I'm surprised Mick has never been on top of this.

Do you know whatever happened with the petition project, Lis? Is it dead in the water for now?

At least we're getting Lindsey's Soundstage DVD soon. But with those few lines of "Frozen Love," I still have to wonder why on earth Buckingham Nicks has never been released on CD. Again, with niche marketing and reissues becoming so prominent in the music industry these days, especially with older bands, where there's a built-in middle-aged audience with plenty of disposable income to drop on such things... It just boggles my mind.
