Default Band face off!! No. 1

Here are your choices for the first round.

The winners of each round will compete against each other until we discover Ledgies' FAVOURITE BAND OF ALL TIME (besides Fleetwood Mac of course).

Sound like fun?

There will be a new poll each day.

Oh and defend your choice please!

So, if my band isn't listed in the poll, do I vote?

Bruce Springsteen, his songs deeply influenced me when I was a teen.

Yep! This is just to find out who you prefer between Tom and Bruce.
There will be two different artists tomorrow.
When I've covered the main bands and artists I think Ledgies like, then I'll put all the winners up against each other, until only two remain!

Cool idea, Sharon. I don't think many of my favorite bands will be mentioned though.

Anyway, I voted for Petty.

Springsteen grates on my nerves way too much. Take that underbite and go home.

So does Petty.

Great idea, Sharon, it should be a lot of fun. I chose Petty. Never was a big Springsteen fan. I like Petty's unique voice and his laidback attitude. Listening to his msuic, you can tell that he has a lot of fun making it and it all seems effortless; it takes someone special to convey that.

Tom Petty. I like Bruce but I like Petty's sound and songwriting better. He also worked with a certain girl singer I like a lot.

I'll be covering some metal and hard rock acts though, so there might be a favourite in a future poll. There are a lot of bands to choose from out there!

Petty.

I don't like Bruce at all. He looks constipated when he sings.

He's got something in common with Lindsey.

Tom without contest. Bruce bores me. He not only looks constipated, he sounds it. He has a handful of songs that I like. But, something about that whole 'common man' thing rubs me the wrong way.

Tom Petty.

I don't think I even own a single Bruce album...?

And Tom's Stevie connections give him a leg up of course.
