I wouldn't say hot, but then I'm not really attracted to "hot." He's cute & dorky, which is what I really go for.

I don't blame him. Why would he want to be stigmatized as the "gay anchor"? If I were him, I'd hate to have people tune in just to point at my perfectly coiffed hair or sense of fashion and say "Look at the gay anchor" instead of paying attention to what I'm reporting and actually doing on the show.
I dunno...people who refuse to say they're gay annoy the hell out of me. I can't imagine being in a relationship with someone like that.

He's attractive, but he's too much of a pretty boy for my taste. Mo Rocca is definitely more my type.

I'm sure it was their decision. But, me and a job like that wouldn't last two seconds. He doesn't have to have a press release, but I'm sure he's had plenty of opportunities to mention it, and yet hasn't.

Tuc Watkins (David Vickers from "One Life To Live")

I knew he was gay...I just knew it!

It's no secret that he's queer, I just don't understand why he has to publicly state his sexuality. If he was trying to hide it, he wouldn't be out and about with other guys, going to gay clubs, and attending Scissor Sisters concerts. I don't think he has to come right out and say "Yes, I like dudes." Straight anchors don't give interviews proclaiming their heterosexual preferences.

No, but they don't go out of their way to dodge the question, either.

That's because they aren't asked the question.

Carson Kressley is gay? Jai Rodriguez is gay? Boy George is gay?

You're the missing the point. Why is he being asked the question? What does it have to do with his show and career as a reporter? No one would interview Aaron Brown or Leslie Blitzer and ask them if they prefer men or women. He isn't Tom Cruise, he hasn't built a career on tickling the twats of women all over the world and then gone to great lengths to cover up his true sexuality. I see no reason why it's not perfectly fine for him to avoid answering such a personal question when giving a true answer would stigmatize him. If he wants to tell us who he prefers to screw, that's fine, and if he doesn't want to, that's also fine.

Because the more celebrities and people who are in the public eye answer the question to reinforce the concept that there is nothing wrong with being gay, the more the idea that being gay is a stigma will go away.

Believe it or not, the gay community still desperately needs trailblazers to alter the red state mentality on gays. Keep up the pressure for the change to come.

Meh. I guess I just don't see it that way.
