I'm sure that Lindsey has better things to do with his time: family, music, etc. The only reason that he might lurk on the board would be because his curiosity got the better of him, and he just had to know what we all thought of him and his music.

We choose to make this part of our time. I was just saying that Lindsey probably has less time than most people. A star's life is unbelievably hectic, as we all know.

Anyone see that early episode of West Wing when Josh Lyman responds to someone on a Josh Lyman message board?

PERFECT example of why a celebrity who is the topic of a message board should keep away from said message board like Superman stays away from Kryptonite. Unless they set up & run the board themselves...like Bob Welch & Brian Wilson did.

Taku Hirano also does that and went to Nancy's board to correct someone who said he was no longer married. He is such a great guy!

Taku is the first person closely connected with Fleetwood Mac (as opposed to connected with Stevie only) who actually made it known that he uses the Internet regularly & skillfully. He used to post as Helen472 or something to Usenet, which is ultra-cool on several levels: first, posting pseudonymously; & second, posting to Usenet indicates a definite savvy!

When all of that occurred, I was instantly disposed to like Hirano-san.

Even his impossible-to-figure-out arrangement of "Here Comes the Sun?"

Oh? I didn't know that. I sort of assumed that immense wealth -- the sort of wealth that accrues from selling 70 or 80 million albums -- generally affords one quite a bit more leisure time than the general mob of people -- those without such wealth -- have.

I've always thought that the life of, for example, a working, divorced mother of four or five young kids is unbelievably hectic.

I personally think he doesn't. He may have seen the site a couple of times, but I dont think he really has time for stuff like this. Besides, he probably would think we're all nuts anyway. His wife may, check this site out from time to time though. Then again, she may be so far removed from what Lindsey means to us (as fans) that she doesnt care either. Either way, no big deal.
