I love her! The new show "Rachel Ray's Tasty Travels" is so cute. I can't wait for a San Francisco episode...

[QUOTE=hayley]Are you kidding? There's actually quality television now, you know. There are incredibly creative people who have come in with great ideas for shows, and craft them with more quality than 95% of the movies released nowadays. Arrested Development is by far the funniest, most inventive, well-written, and perfectly acted television show in history, as far as I'm concerned. Veronica Mars is a perfect example of an original spin on a relatively tired idea, elevated by perfect acting and the ability to truly sustain a mystery throughout a season. No one's done it as well as they have since the first season of Twin Peaks. Sure, I have my guilty pleasures, but shows like those two, and Battlestar Galactica, which is one of the best dramas to hit television in years, not to mention THE best sci-fi show, redeem television. And don't even get me started on Gilmore Girls.

I really hate the attitude that there's nothing good on TV. There's plenty of crap, but there are more quality shows on television now than there probably ever has been. I hate that holier-than-thou "TV SUCKS" attitude. Most music sucks too, and most movies suck. That doesn't mean that there aren't amazing films and amazing artists out there. Anyone who bitches about TV in a blanket statement-their credibility goes down in seconds to me.[QUOTE=hayley]

I totally agree with you! I would rather watch television than see half of what is being released in theaters right now. NEVER thought I'd say that!!

Have to agree. And is it me, or is her ass getting fatter and her mouth bigger and more "Joker-Like"? She's on about as much as Giada (Italian for "Abnormally Huge Bobble Head") DeLaurentis. Granddaughter of Dino DeLaurentis. (But who cares). I want to strangle her with some linguini and stuff her skinny remains into some sheep's intestines and feed her to a hungry cobra. I followed Tony Bourdain to The Travel Channel and watch his antics over there. The food network blows. How many specials do we need on making salt water taffy for crissakes. It just shows the mentality of the viewers. How some buffoon yelling "BAM!!" every time he adds some GAHLICK to a recipe causes orgasms in the audience.

I like Rachel Ray. To hell with the two (hundred) of you!

Kidding about the hell thing. I do like her recipes, but I can see how people dislike her. Hubby hates her - he has also noted that her ass is growing. I LOVE Paula Deen - she puts a stick of butter in anything. Other than that, I just flip it on here & there. Unwrapped is cool.

OK, so GG tonight? I was disappointed at first - kind of anticlimactic. And wth was with the bar scene? I couldn't hear any diologue. But the last half was excellent. Rory finally has to take responsibility.

And despite my statement that I wsn't going to watch anything alien/supernatural/sci fi...I watched the new show Supernatural & I LOVED it! Scared the crap out of me - deosn't help that I watched it alone. I thought it was really original. Reminds me of a good scary/horror movie without the cheesy gore.

I am glad you feel that way too. I can't stand her. Very annoying. One of my friends loves her. Thinks she is the ****. Ugh.

What about that one where Eddie was supposed to get Monty that electronic organizer but forgot all about it? Monty was *hilarious* in that one.

I hated the Rory parts and loved the L&L parts. His immediate yes was adorable. I squeed. And them toasting their engagement with a case of Zima? HEE. I was trying to figure out exactly why they would even tell TAYLOR about their engagement before actually like touching or kissing each other. Sheeesh. And Babette. Running through the town square holding her boobs down. Been there. LMAO. And Lorelai waking her parents up. Hee. Then, of course, I cried with her in Rory's room, when she threw the water bottle. Uggh.

Ew. I refuse. Dean's presence in the show is enough to scare me away from it!!
