My mom's dad's name was Edward Edwards. I think that is common, though, and it's from a long time ago. Like when everyone's last name was their father's name, but with "son" on the end. And they were also named after their father. I dunno, when I read about a long time ago, people have names like that.

My dad used to have a friend named Harry Cave.

And then there was a kid in my middle school named Carrie Hunt. And we would play that game where you switch the first letters of your first and last name. I would be Gyan Rates. Just imagine how this girl felt when we mixed and mashed her name.

My dad's name is Zlatko Zlatev.

I went to school with a girl named Carrie Wight. Yeah, spelled differently, but still! I'm pretty sure she was born before the movie came out. "They're all gonna laugh at you!"

My great grandfather's name was Gaspar.

It is weird. My boyfriend's last name is George. I told him if we had a kid we could be REALLY cruel and name him George. George George. That would be so wrong!

I don't know, I didn't meet the person, I just saw the chart. I think it's a guy. He has a last name with letters & stuff, so I don't know what the deal is. Dot? God, I hope it's not Period.

Darn! What kind of last name did he have? Do you remember? Do you have his phone number?

I worked with a girl who named her daughter Willomina. WTF?
One of my co-workers granddaughter's name is Piper? HELLO PEOPLE....

What about Dick Buttkis? Isn't he a sports announcer?
Or Dick Trickle, the race car driver? Hilarious.

When I named Sara, I made D*MN sure that her name, to say it all out loud, flowed right. I even made sure here initials were right. If I had given her my maiden name, here initials would have been SNM. Think about it for a minute. Ultimately, she took her dad's last name, and her initials are SNJ.
