Okay, well, Homie has apparently left the building and so I will assume that I was correct and offer up some more Chris lyrics.

Ok, I got my 4:00 a.m. wake-up call.(actually this morning it was more like 5:00 a.m.) "Friend" goes da da da da da, not De de de de dew, de de de de dew....

I'll go with "Tell Me You Need Me", but Homer doesn't have the Madison Blues box set, unless he just got it...

I guess we'll have to wait until Homer gets his afternoon wake-up call to find out.

HA! I'm up at 7AM( only because I HAVE to, to work a 16 hour day, doing monitors for a hospital benefit? show in Indy 16 hour days should be against the law!). But, you're both wrong. I guess my dews were a little too obscure, although they ring out in my head. so, I add:
Pull out the stops, turn on the light

It's "Morning Rain." I thought "Friend" was "da," but well...I was just delirious last night. I was sadly triumpant that I'd gotten it and I hadn't. If this is right then doesn't Homie owe me $5?

Okay...

"Homeward Bound"

I think Homer owes you $5, Hillary. By the way, "Tell Me You Need Me" also has some de de de de dew's.

This is an easy one:

'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

"Songbird" That was definitely easier!

This one is for Homie (and for anyone who wants to answer) for him being so silly with the lyrics game. I've looked at lyrics that had this part written differently (with "ooohhs") but I don't think they have it right. I hear it as

"Ah ah aaaah (pretend that last one has three syllables) aaaaaahh (that too) ah ah"

Last edited by GateandGarden; 09-10-2005 at 01:19 PM.. Reason: attempting to clarify my "aaaahs"

So, no one knows (or could even guess) which song I'm talking about there?

Apparently not. Maybe Homer will take a guess when he returns.

I know what it is but I don't count. And I can't explain why but some people know.

Surely Homie has some idea. He was the first to get the bright idea that noises were valid song lyrics.
