Default KC and The Sunshine Band

Ok, I'm going out on a limb here with the disco reference, but I REALLY like these guys. I dont know what it is, but there's so much mindless disco out tehre, but for some reason I've always felt these guys are different. I've never seen them in concert , maybe one day I'll get lucky.

Favorite song- Hands down, no question, KEEP IT COMIN LOVE. I could listen to this song forever and never get tired of it.

I predict, your number of posts will exceed Amber's and Josh's, within 3 months!

I have to say I don't really know much of their work...but I don't mind a bit of disco really.

I like 'Shake Your Booty" and 'Get Down Tonight'. I think that they did a disco nostalgia tour a few years back. Maybe they will tour again.

If I remember correctly KC and the Sunshine Band were at the Polaris Amphitheatre in 1996 with Stevie and some other groups. Cher was supposed to be there but she bagged out. I was walking around the venue when KC was on, but I think he was lip synching, sounded like the records were playing. Stevie was really good that night.

I also love this band. I love disco, anyway! Most of it anyway! Donna Summer is my other fave. She still sounds awesome.

i saw KC 2 years ago, at mandalay bay in Las Vegas, it was a party at a conference. they really rocked (or discoed???). it was a 70s theme party, drinks for free, wigs, it was so fun!

and DS is my disco diva too. I do like disco, Donna was my first idol, then it was Queen. Finally the Mac became my fave band. Is that evolution???

Sound Your Funky Horn is a great song. It's an early singe from 1973. It has a funky vibe reminiscent of Sly and the Family Stone.
