I've loved her ever since I heard "on and on" so long ago (ack, I'm old)...but I've yet to purchase any of her albums. They're on the list, though.

I am totally into Hilary Duff's Most Wanted CD right now. I have no idea why, she totally isn't my kind of music.

KarmaContestant · #19 09-02-2005, 11:46 PM

I am totally into Siouxsie and the Banshees right now, what with the non-LP box set I got on Wednesday. Haven't listened to Stevie in three days.

It's quite amazing, having basically 50 songs that are new to me all at once.

I'm really into PJ Harvey right now. I just got her Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea CD and I think it's wonderful. I especially love "Good Fortune," "One Line," "Kamikaze," and "This Mess We're In," but it's all good. A lot of seems really appropriate for the moment, too.

I'm also into Nico right now. I don't have any of her CDs but I have a few songs and she's like no one else. My favorite song that I've heard is "These Days."

Oh too funny! I remember when that came out, everyone on here agreed it was funny and done in good taste, by a fan. We also loved the Lindsey reference too..( well I did, hopeless romantic I was...yes I thought they'd get back together

) anyway, thanks for sharing that again!!

me too! Thanks to a Ledgie friend who got me hooked a couple years ago. I just downloaded a couple London boots from www.untiedundone.com. I don't have the box set though.

Lately I'm obsessed with Badly Drawn Boy and Shawn Colvin. I've also been revisiting Jackson Browne and Melissa Etheridge. I'm digging her new cover of "Refugee."

Eurythmics and Sheryl Crow. Mainly the Savage and The Globe Sessions albums respectively. Totally amazing.

Hippocampus · #28 09-03-2005, 04:54 AM

Currently Kate Bush's albums are in heavy rotation. I also completely dig Linda Ronstadt's greatest hits CD which I recently acquired.

Well, I'm still into early Yello, '80s German electronica. Dieter Meier's voice is mesmerizing.

Polly rocks. Have you listened to her cooperations with Mark Lanegan on his album Bubblegum? They sound divine together. That whole album is something I'm very into. as I'm into Arcade Fire, Masters Of Reality and Admiral Freebee right now.
