WHO AND WHAT SYSTEM, DO YOU THINK MADE IT SO THAT AN ENTIRE RACE WAS IN A CERTAIN PLACE, WITH NO RESOURCES?
Our system, the American economic and social sytem and beliefs made it that way.

Was this before or after she went shoe shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue, went to see Spamalot on Broadway, and played a nice game of tennis?

As for the "generous people" comment, I think this disaster is very telling in terms of how savage our country is.

I hope there comes a day when balance is regained in this world and Sean is forced to go back to selling used cars.

It was Kanye West, and I agree about Connick. He was a prince to do what he did. Hearing about people like him gives me a little bit of hope that not everyone in this world is heartless.

is it really that necessary to yell?? I mean..well..according to our favorite "FAQ's" all caps are considered yelling. I know this is a heated discussion and people are getting very invested in this....but it seemed to me just an innocent question he posed....

Yes, hello! *not sarcastic hello to you, but to those who don't understand that*

And the political and economic conditions that led to one race consistently and everywhere, being the poorest in America.

That deeply disturbed and angered me, too. I'm watching him talking to reporters, and I thought, "he's smirking. He's actually standing there in the middle of all of this devastation, with thousands of people dead and dying, and he's literally smiling out of the corner of his mouth."

I honestly don't understand how others can see these things... this cold, dispassionate behaviour... with their own two eyes, and still support him.

Okay...

Where did that come from. Why are you getting all angry? I am asking you to help me to understand where you are coming from...I'm shot down for being close minded...but yet I want to know where you are coming from, and you are being snappy about it!!! I understand about economics and race...TRUST me, more than you know...I just simply wanted to understand where you were coming from.

It is the fault of our government that they took their sweet time to react to a crisis involving many poorer minority citizens. That is the point, dear.

Are you a moderator?
Thanks for your input. I did not mean to yell, I meant to emphasize, which is what all caps mean to me.
Also - if he is going to ask such an "innocent" question of me, that's what he will get. If you want to answer his question, feel free to do it in any way you choose.
Anything else?
