It's no secret that Stevie was the Winona Ryder of the music industry back in the day. Exactly. Even if Stevie is aware of this conversation (which I find hard to believe because I'm sure she has more important things to do, especially now), I have an easier time imagining her getting a kick out of her fans trying to piece together her love life than getting offended by it. She's made no secret of many of the men she's been with...hell, "Enchanted" was practically a tribute to them!

Not like the love lives of the other members haven't been discussed. Not our fault if they didn't give us as much to talk about.

Stevie's a tough old broad...I think she can handle it.

I think it's sorta interesting that there's 4,200 views of this topic,

compared to way less than that for all of the rest,

at a time like this.

Why take even the slightest chance of hurting Stevie's feelings

right now, at a time when she's feeling the way we all know she's

feeling. Do you guys think she feels like continuing her career at this

particular moment in time? Specifically what I was addressing is the

implication that Stevie is a "whore" and "slut," and yes, those words

were used. And I happen, by chance, to know for a fact that Stevie

is aware of the general tone of some of the topics on this board, and

no, she does not find it funny. Not by a long shot.

What I'm trying to say - and what many people - you'd be surprised who -

feel - is, that the TIMING of this discussion is somewhat bothersome,

considering that her DADDY just died. Let's try to cut her a break

on this stuff for a little while, just On General Principle.

Or you guys could turn this discussion into a flame war, what-eva,

but I'm done with it. And I'm sorry if I bothered anyone with my remarks

especially considering that I'm a "newbie" but I felt that there was an

insensitive tone here. I honestly did. It's just seems to be kind of

insensitive to what's going on in Stevie's life right now.

This is a time when Stevie needs and desires all the positive support

and love from the fans as she can get.

And this seems rather negative underneath the surface, to me,

No, nothing would change for me. I am just curious that if someone says Stevie knows specifics about this board I'd like to know details and where he got his information. That's a pretty profound statement and contradictory to what I've heard so I'd love to know where he got this info.

Honestly, I don't think the timing of this thread has any relevance. Nor are most people being at all disrespectful to her. There are plenty of other threads on this board that have been way more hurtful towards her. And compared to many message boards across the world wide web, this one is soft as a baby's butt. I don't go to many message boards (okay, like no others, pretty much) but I checked out one recently on the recommendation of someone here and I was actually repulsed by the viciousness and ugliness on it. This thread is simply a discussion about a part (or many parts) of Stevie's life - a life she has spoken about freely and openly. I mean, she has pretty much documented her love life in her music. If she truly didn't want people to know about, she wouldn't have written songs about it.

I'm also not sure why I should care what Don Henley would think of me writing this; I could not actually care less.
