I'm about five hours northwest of New Orleans and I'd venture a guess that every hotel within a hundred miles is booked solid. I live about half an hour away from the interstate... I imagine in a few hours there's going to be a *lot* of people in this town.

It's so sad - I was just in NO in May, and they've done so much to improve the city. And everyone there is always so friendly & fun. I hate to think of them (or anyone) going through all this.

I'm right on the coast, just across from Galveston, and my stomach is in knots at the fear it will instead move west and get us instead. So I know how people in the current projected path must feel.

Good luck to you too Kortni! A massive influx of people would be really annoying, but I'm sure they appreciate having someplace safe to go.
