I liked Vegas when I was there in May, but since I'm not a gambler, I'm not really sure I wouldve gone there if it wasnt for the shows.

Well I didnt really think to put cities I hate, but here's a few.

1. No Contest, Buffalo, New York. I went to see Fleetwood Mac there in 03, and while I pretty much just drove in for the show and left right afterwards, what I saw made me think this city was really in trouble. Incidentally, that concert on 5-15-03 was one of the best of the whole 2 year tour I saw, so go figure.

2. Detroit. the whole downtown seemed so old and outdated, to say nothing of the surrounding area. I'm just glad that last show in '04 was outside the city!!

3. Houston. There's nothing like the smell of refineries in the morning....

Faves:
1) San Francisco: no matter where I go I still adore this city, it's got so much character and it's right on the Bay

2) LA: probably not central LA, but northern LA area, like westlake, malibu, and venice beach, but unfortunatly they are not really "cities" so I just lump them with being in the LA area.

3) Is Santa Barbara a city? If it is the I would love to live there, its soooo pretty and a blast to walk around.

Yeah I'm a real california girl

Good God, what the hell did you see?

Apparently not the gorgeous architecture, the Elmwood Strip, the theatre district, the waterfront, Forest Lawn Cemetary, the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Delaware Park, Shea's...

OK, OK, I'm getting a little defensive here . Everyone has the right to their opinion. You are not totally incorrect -our city IS in trouble, financially & politically - if it weren't for the idiots in public office, we'd be a hell of a lot better off. We've always been along the same line as Cleveland & Pittsburgh, but Buffalo has been a lot slower with a comeback. And it is not a huge happening place like NYC or San Diego - you have to find the cool things about it, but they are here, I swear.

It really is a beautiful little city with wonderful people & a nice low cost of living. I urge you to come back & check it out when you have more time to explore.

BTW - You're right about the Buffalo show - it rocked!

Gorgeous gay men is right, but my motto is to never screw A-N-Y-O-N-E from there. Not a one.
