Yeah, I'm pretty sure. In that OSOTM DVD I watched the other night, she had these two really long pieces on each side and she would kind of play with them as she sang. Also, her bangs were a different shade of blonde than the rest of her hair so...

Crikey, I loooooove Dolly, but I saw the cover of her new album and gasped. Leave them lips alone, darlin'!

(There's a Dolly boot from a couple of days ago on Dime right now with a bunch of songs from the new album, FYI.)

Myself and a few other fans were hanging around backstage at the Greek in El Lay after her OSOTM show there and Eber showed up and was immediately ushered into the room where Stevie was.Her hair definately was full of extensions and or additions that night it looked like it could easily accomadate a few birds and maybe a couple squirrels without much problem at all.

The Boathouse? In Austin?

I used to drive there from College Station on weekends, before I was *technically* out. Man, my GPA that semester sucked (no pun intended).

Ive noticed this as well. On whole Lotta Trouble it looks like she takes it off because her normal hair returns all straight and down with the top hat and she looks great.

I sort of liked this 'do for the short period of time she maintained it. But when it went all overboard for the Tango tour I quickly began longing for the more whispy, feathered look of years prior. For Tango, I would agree with some of the other posters and say there was some extensions or perhaps wigs happening. It was just TOO big, too high and too weird for words.
On the other hand, when the Wilson sisters of Heart were being styled like this in the '86-89 period I was digging it. Go figure.

The teased, puffy perm she got from Eber looks like the same hairstyle she had when Fleetwood Mac filmed the "Little Lies" & "Big Love" videos later that year. Did Eber do Stevie's hair for those video shoots?

I thought at the time, "Why doesn't she make friends with someone who really digs her music instead of someone who just wants to be seen with her?" (Eber was all over daytime talk shows in those days, gabbing about all his star friends -- a typical Hollywood Queen.)

So what was the Stevie-Eber connection all about, & how long did it last?
Way too long if he is responsible for what I call the Rooster do in the Big Love video.
