Default who still has.....

Who still has their favorite toy/stuffed animal from when they were a wee peep? I was packing up some stuff and found my stuffed bear and favorite little "Blanky" - I use to call it my DeeDee. Why? I have no idea where that name came from. What do you expect from a 1 year old? But, more frightening is I still have them. Anyone else have their favorite toy still? And what was it? (This is how ebay gets rich, people looking for that toy tractor they use to have). Also in that box were old Matchbox and Hotwheels. Well played with.

I have a lot of toys/stuffed animals at my parents' house somewhere. Let's see, there's Freddy the Teddy, Lila the Lamb, and my Glo-Worm. My collection of Cabbage Patch dolls is there, too -- Jennifer, Jessica, Elizabeth, and Ginger. And lest we forget Baby-That-Away and Chatty Patty.

Edit - Forgot about all the My Little Ponies, Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake stuff.

Nooooo....but I was pissed when I found out my mom threw away my basketball game. It was basketball, contained in a flat glass/plastic box, with mechanical parts, and you had to press buttons to make people pass to each other, and then finally go in the basket, before time ran out. It's the only toy I really liked. I didn't play with toys when I was little. I had stuffed animals, though, but it's okay they're gone..
My toys were...ball, jumprope...jacks....blank paper, and books. I mainly ran around outside. I especially had no use for dolls. Except I had one, and all I did was practice braiding on her hair. Occasionally.

Zippy the chimpanzee who's had a separated shoulder for about 40 years. At one time "he" had fur which has now turned to patches and rubber hands with fingers and rubber shoes and a rubber face. Picture Planet of the Apes meets Grisabella the Glamour Cat. They may still have them in the Sears Christmas Catalogue. My brother still has one too and our names are still written on the bottom of the shoes.

I don't think there's a toy more freaky than a Peewee Herman doll! My cousin used to have one... it scared the **** out of me! I used to bury it in my aunt's hamper just so i wouldn't have to look at it ~shudder~

I still have all my stuff from when I was a kid. The two things I loved most were my stuffed dog, Mutsy, and a part of my blanket that I called my Lucky Piece. Musty still sits at the foot of my bed, and my lucky piece is laying under my bed somewhere.

Arrow Um...

I still have tons of stuff from my childhood. I sleep beside my Teddy to this day, I've had him since I was 2..and I'll be 30 next year. I still have my Cabbage Patch Kids and just, so many toys. I'm going to eventually put some of it on Ebay.

Default Ninja turtles...

Yeah, that's right!

There are a couple of large boxes in my parents' attic with at least 40 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures...as well as the Turtle Van, sewer, and who knows what else! I think at one point I owned every figure and accessory for them that was out. I was OBSESSED with them from about 8-11 years old. I mean as far as having the people at Toys R Us go open boxes in the back to see if they had a figure I needed...or calling the toy department at Wal-Mart on a weekly basis to have them check the shelf for something. Wow, I was (am) such a tool!

What a waste of money looking back! And of course there's no boxes or anything, and they've all been well played with...there goes my shot of making a fortune on Ebay!

Brad

Whenever the reproductions came out...I believe it was thru Ashton Drake Galleries, I had to get one for each of my granddaughters. The dial still turns on mine and she still moves her head, but that body needs a total makeover. And I cut her bald, thinking her hair would grow back!! Poor baby!

Oh, man. I have mine. He's a pink teddy bear I was given by a family friend when I was a few days old. His name's Simon. His nose is long gone, his eyes and mouth were embroidered on by my grandmother when the original ones fell off, and all of his fur has rubbed off. But he's the cutest thing ever.
