Exclamation The next time I drink...

or feel the urge to, I will try a "Black Tooth Grin" which is Coca-Cola mixed with Crown Royal...Good tastin' **** from what I here.

The world is very lucky that when I do drink I become a "happy drunk" instead of a "violent drunk".

Ah yes... Kaluha is lovely. I had it with milk when I was in Canada. Baileys is my fave tho... have you tried it with Brandy?

You can get a Baileys ice-cream over here. It's a Haagen Dazs one and it's heaven!

EDIT: Aha.... I've found a recipe for making your own!

http://www.recipes4us.co.uk/Desserts...eg__cd__dp.htm

Baileys Ice Cream Veg CD DP 10mins plus cooling and freezing

Serves 4-6 Vegetarian Cold Dessert Ices

Ingredients

300ml/10fl.oz. Milk

125g/5oz Sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

300ml/10fl.oz Whipping cream

120ml/4fl.oz. Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur

Instructions

1. Place the milk, vanilla and sugar in a saucepan and heat over a medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and cool.

2. In a large measuring jug, whip the cream until slightly thickened then add the cooled milk mixture and mix well. Chill for 1 hour.

3. Add the Baileys Irish Cream to the chilled milk mixtures and mix well. Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze churn for 30 – 40 minutes or according to the manufacturers directions. Alternatively, turn the mixture into a rigid freezer-proof container and freeze, removing from the freezer every 20 minutes or so and beating well with a wooden spoon to break up any ice particles.

Love the white wine!! Particularly anything of the Pinot variety (Blanc, Gris, Grigio..)

I think I may have mentioned this a few threads back, but the perfect summer drink is....get ready for it.....

Belladonna:
-1 1/2 oz limoncello
-1 oz tonic
-1/2 oz of Bombay Sapphire gin
-splash of oj

Me too. I am suprised how many people prefer red to white wine. I can't drink red wine. It reminds me of blood. Not that I have ever drank blood, but...well you know what I mean. I like savingion blanc or pinot grigio when it comes to wine.

If you're a fan of white, have I got a wine for you! Its a Canadian VQA wine, Gray Monk Pinot Blanc. Sooooo good. Very apricot-y, crisp, not too sweet. A perfect summer white wine. And I'm with you on the red...not so much for the blood reference, but it gives me headaches. Although I'm not so sure I'll look at red wine in the same way again.....
