The best driving song

[WELSH WITCH]

If there is one song that makes you put your foot down on the gas and sing along as hard as you can, what song will it be?????

With me it really depends on my mood, but a favorite is a song by the dutch band named Diesel called Sausalito summer nights.

[GypsySorcerer]

One that immediately comes to mind is "Boys of Summer" by Don Henley.

[SuzeQuze]

Radar Love

Back in Black

Running with the Devil

GYOW

Oh wait, you said sing along with, I cannot sing along with some of these but they make me put the pedal to the metal so to speak.

[shackin'up]

three posts and 2.5 dutch bands We only get stuck in traffic!

dutch:
diesel
radar love by golden earring from the Hague
and a Van Halen song. The brothers Van Halen were born in my hometown, het Willemskwartier in Nijmegen.

Oh and I saw a AC/DC-track too. Angus lives in Holland too: in Aalten. And he does for a long time now- 'bout 25 years?

My fave driving song Is;

New Orleans Is Sinking by The Tragically Hip
or
Driver's Seat By Sniff 'n' the Tears
or
Amphetamine by Steve Wynn THAT one is dangerous!!!!! From his 2003-abum.

[StevieNicksEO17]

Definitely Fall From Grace or Everybody Finds Out. Those songs make me drive veryyyy fast!

[Beachwood Mac]

Two come to mind:

Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run

Cyndi Lauper - I Drove All Night

[dissention]

"Black On Black" by Heart, "Michael" by Franz Ferdinand, and "Golden Rod" by Blondie are my three big ones.

"Long Way To Go" is a good, one, too, as is just about anything from ABC and Duran Duran.
