Okay, I know you're gay, but does it have to get insulting? We're right here, you know!

Heh. No, I didn't think you meant married to a woman. Just don't think you've ever mentioned you had a partner.

Sorry, honey- but the whole "having sex with a woman" thing really grosses me out...

I hope Hillary, or SaphireSister posts some posts with..."something something man something....EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!"
In it.
I'd do it, but that would be a big fat lie. A lie of Liz Taylorean proportions...

Every once in awhile he pops up in my posts, here and there. He's not a big FM fan. He went with me to Stevie Vegas first time around. Jason, Amber, Mariel and Patti all got to say hi. We would have met more people, but we had been up all day that day.

I don't find it gross. I just have no desire to do it with any woman I know.

I had a few very well-meaning friends who, as soon as I came out, started telling me, "Ok, you have to get your hair cut this way, and start wearing this type of clothing, and buy this brand of underwear, and get yourself more sexual experience, yadda-yadda-yadda."

But that's just not me, and I refused to give in... even then.
Coming out allowed me to finally stop pretending to be something I'm not, so I certainly wasn't going to give up one type of conformity for another.

I French-kissed a girl on a dare in 7th grade.
If I hadn't been in such deep denial, I would have known right then and there that I was gay... no offense to the ladies here, but it was yucky!

I don't think there's much I like in the way of music that's stereotypically gay, except for my aforementioned fondness for Billie, Ella, Dinah, etc.

I loved Stevie and dug Cher and Madonna way before I knew there was any kind of gay connection. I was too sheltered in my tiny little western Pennsylvania town to know about any of that stuff.

Towie's story about Grease and Donna Summer's 'On The Radio' double-album was too funny, because I was obsessed with both when I was little.
Of course, I was also obsessed with Wonder Woman when I was little.
Being just a little bit younger than you, these things are mostly before my time.

Yet, there are plenty of other stereotypically "gay" things that I'm not the least bit interested in (hair, clothes, having the perfect body, going to all the best restaurants and hippest clubs, laying every hot guy you see), and most of the stereotypical tendencies I have, begin and end with pop culture (music, TV, broadway shows).
This is why the prospect of being single again is a little daunting for me. I have no interest in clothes, or going to the gym or the clubs, or Paris Hilton. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live in a college town? I dunno.

Yeah, but you know it's not half as lonely as sometimes feeling like you may be the only gay person in "real life."

For the most part, I hate the fact that I'm from LA, too. But at we know there are some sane people, and some who managed to get out.

Well, I was informed that I was gay at the age of 9 on the playground on numerous occasions. It didn't help that I heard the word "babe" somewhere I promptly declared that one of the female teachers was a "babe." So, I didn't really know what gay was then, but I knew to some degree.

It is hard when you're gay and single, if you don't "fit in."
There seem to be a lot of requirements in regards to how we're expected to carry ourselves and how we should dress and where we should hang out.

The only good advice I can give you, is to just continue being your sweet self. But I'm sure you already knew to do that.

By the way, and not to bring up a potentially sore subject, but when did you become single again?
