I'm ABSOLUTELY With you on 1-2-3! That's HILARIOUS! I heard that song the other day and was totally laughing at it's loveable cheesiness.

But I can't agree with you on "The Promise". The lyrics in that song are so beautiful. I don't find it cheesy at all. It makes me all weepy.

OH MY GOD! SERIOUSLY AMBER!!! I totally have a story for the song Downtown by Petula Clark.

So, I'm at a used record store (a really really good one here) and I'm checking out the singles section and find a Downtown remix album. I pick it up and have an instant heart attack, which I still don't understand to this day, 'cause honestly, I don't really even LIKE that song! So, I run over to my friend Rachel (Red) and she flips out too! Weird. So, I bought it and the two of us flipped out all the way home. Again, neither of us really care about this song, so, it's still totally baffling. We put it in the ol' stereo and give it a listen! TERRIBLE!!! Like awful gay anthem stuff. All ntz-ntz-ntz-ntz.
