Default Forgotten_Chimp
Evidently our newest member is Forgotten_Chimp. That is unacceptable. I demand to know who took my name that I was using as a joke to be a friendly troll. There can be only one and I'm not going anywhere.

And, whoever you are, I'm only kidding, okay?

I say we all create "Forgotten Chimp"-ish aliases, then have a big contest to guess who's who...

Forgotten-Chimp
Forgotten.Chimp
Forgotten*Chimp

etc...

And since I still can't figure out who you, the first one, are - should be pretty fun.

Also, the birthday announcements for today indicate that Rainman is turning three. I'm impressed how early he learned to type.

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Yes, Rainman must be a prodigy!

What exactly does a "friendly troll" do anyway?

I think I may have created the term so I guess I'm equipped to define it.

A friendly troll is everything that a regular troll is, without all the rude remarks and personal attacks. Like an ordinary troll, a friendly troll is represented by a real person, of course, but isn't actually a real person. The person is pretending to be someone else. However, some friendly trolls are not all that clever and it's easy to see what regular posting-Ledgie they really are.

This friendly troll is just here to yank some chains.
