Gosh - I can't even remember

I think the last cd I bought was Loretta Lynn's 22 greatest hits.

Yeah, it's her newest. I just saw an ad for it on TV. She's singing standards on it.

I so didn't think I would like it, but I do. The title track and "How Long Has This Been Going On" are particularly good. Her voice is incredibly warm and sensuous on it, it's great. She's been talking about doing a tour and if she does, I can't wait to see her.

I love Carly-
She has a great voice for singing those old lush standards, I am glad that you like it- I think that on your recommendation, I shall pick it up-Thanks

And I am glad someone else has heard of Medeline Peyroux

and she is just so listenable.... (is that a word??)

Hee hee. I love Kelly Clarkson. Breakaway will in fact be my next CD purchase, later today. I've bought half the tracks from Puretracks already; I'm just gonna cave and get the whole damn thing.

Last CD I did buy: Coldplay X and Y. As Paula said, "bite me."

It's actually pretty good, although I like the 3 singles best right now (which are the first 3 tracks - that annoys me for some reason.) Gone and Beautiful Disaster are very good too.

Oh, I love Kelly's new CD though I don't have her first one. Maybe someday I'll get it.

The last CD I got, no kidding, is Stevie's The Wild Heart. I really love it. I'm slowly building my Stevie collection as well as my Mac collection. When I saw the video of when Stevie was first in Vegas singing Beauty & the Beast, I found out what CD it was on & bought it. I know this sounds corny, but everytime I hear this song, it gives me chills. Great song. And there isn't a song on this CD that stinks, not a one.

A Mark Olson CD.

I don't think there are many Jayhawks fans in here sadly...

WELSH WITCH · #26 08-11-2005, 11:34 AM

Last CD, let me think....

That has to be the promo cd for the 2 voices 1 guitar tour by Mark Lennon and John Vester.

DrummerDeanna · #27 08-11-2005, 11:36 AM

OK - I just bought a couple of cds on my lunch break...

Live- Birds of Pray
Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Exstacy...
