A small Destiny Rules review....

“I own the masters,” Lindsey Buckingham says quietly when his bandmates question his desire to release Say You Will as a two-disc set. All of a sudden it becomes very clear why this group essentially broke up for 15 years. Filmed in 2001-02 as the band recorded and mixed the album, this 80-minute doc is a lot like Metallica’s Some Kind of Monster. In Destiny Rules, Lars Ulrich is played by Stevie Nicks while Buckingham takes the role of James Hetfield. Mick Fleetwood just wants to spend his time being British, and John McVie is bored to tears by the constant passive-aggressive bickering between Nicks and Buckingham. Ol’ Lindsey has a vision for this album and is willing to take a big financial hit to make it happen — until he realizes just how big the financial hit will be. So to hell with the double set; here’s a long single disc. The hidden camera footage is the best part here, showing what the players are really thinking about each other. — MW

The person who wrote it summed it up pretty well. The doc was kind of disappointing because I had hoped that it would show them actually working on the songs and the album, not bickering. The parts where they worked thorugh the music were the best parts, imo.

I think so as well, esp. when they were in rehearsals - I LOVED that. I do have to say though, watching LB and La Nicks go at it and the LB breaking down was moving, at least to me.

I wouldn't mind the bickering so much if it were bickering about the songs. I thought the double album debate went on way too long. Would also liked to have seen more lighthearted moments (if there were any - you know you're desperate for laughter when you buy a singing fish to lighten the mood )
