Is it just me or have they ratcheted up the tempo on some of the songs a bit? I especially noticed it on Dreams.

I really like this version of Dreams, she sings it like she means it and that's rare these days. She was alive during this show, definitely not going through the motions. The "Baby baby baby baby baby baby" adds to it a lot, too.

Sounds like it must be an amazing performance though. I mean, even dissy is raving about it!
but I am expecting this show in shortly....So once I start up trading again on August 8th (I have a visit with a neurologist this coming Wednesday) I can trade it to those who do not have the ability to download via torrent.

Just feel free to PM later next week.

Having problems with Bittorrent,This is for Stevie fans having problems.First you have to get a Bittorrent downloading client like BitTornado, thats what I have. then signup to the Dime. I know it's a pain in the @$$ to get in. if they reach their quota at 100,000 peers I think whats it is now. you have to wait until they drop some peers. be patient, it took me almost 2 weeks to register.to play FLAC, get a plugin for Winamp at http://flac.sourceforge.net. install it, and your all set.It took me about 95minutes to download the LA Show. good luck and enjoy...

I downloaded the program that you suggested, but when I open the program and it searches for files to convert, none of the torrent stuff shows up.

I am such an idiot when it comes to this kind of stuff
I will take you considerably longer to download then 2 seconds. If there are a lot of people seeding a show (seeding means uploading from their computer) it can be a quick download, like an hour or so... but usually it can take 5 - 6 hours to download a show depending on how fast the information can be downloaded to your computer, which like I said is based on the seeders... the people sending it out for the downloaders.

Click on the torrent link and it should either automatically recognize the torrent client you downloaded in order to download the show...or it will say something like... Can't find the program, what would you like it to do.. or something like that. At that point.. browse for the torrent client program - which should get you going on the download. Read through the two torrent threads in the Stevie forum and in the Rumours forum...

When you look for files to convert you are looking for either .flac files or .shn files. The LA show contains .flac files.

Her voice is delicate and her range IS limited- but this is one of those amazing shows that reminded me of Stevie in 1981-83, its that GOOD
i liked the "STANDING IN A LINE" part, where she shouts it out... but i've heard better performances of this song overall throughout the year

gee, thanks friend

although, i have to disagree in that she has not been singing it as "Tay-ay-ay-ay-ake me home" all summer... she was hitting that note up until the "Gold Dust" shows... in fact, most of the shows i attended this year, she did in fact hit that high note.

Aw Brian... get over yourself! I am just trying to put on my objectivity hat, and I think the quality of the LA show excels due to the relatively subdued audience noise. The taper was making some harsh complaints about the "old c*nts" sitting next to him, but I didn't really notice them at all. There weren't any "whooh!"-ers next to him, it seems. That's not to say I don't love your recordings (even though I've never received any from you, and have yet to make good on our bet regarding "Leather and Lace's" chart placing ).

I will also have to go back through the Stand Backs because I don't recall Stevie hitting "the note" at the end. I lead such an exciting life.
