ITA, it will be the very casual fans who fill the seats

At least I'm hoping that's the case, because I'd love for Vegas to become a yearly thing, and I don't see it happening without great sales.

for the Rolling Stones Jan 2003 OKC show, Tickets that were $150 ended up going for $50 (I know, I bought one that way) due to slow/non-existant ticket sales.

I have a feeling the show is not selling as well as what Stevie's people had hoped.

i was in touch with john kinney and he said that he knew nothing about it, he'd been told they were near to selling the place out, and that maybe they were obstructed view. i repied 'no, at least on that last part.' i was like, at one point there were seventh row seats available. at least he replied. quickly. thanks, john.

and of course i want a refund. not our fault that we paid full price the day before they started an unannounced promotion.

TwistedGypsy · #27 08-02-2005, 04:01 PM

I saw nothing that obstructed anyones view, so they couldn't use that as an excuse. I think the reduced price is BS.
