Dammit, I wish I had my scanner or digital camera here to demonstrate how it can be a thumb. Anyway, its more fun for you to believe he flipped them off anyway.

I'll grant you that. I don't have to be right!

I don't know, looking at that little picture again, it could be a thumb.

Even if it is, I want his ass to get raked over the coals for flipping a turkey, anyway.

The clincher is that whatever the appendage sticking up is, running on the right side of it is the line of the arm leading into an index finger curled in the fist postion. So, unless Dubya has some weird birth defects where he's got a middle finger where his thumb should be, I doubt he's flipping them off.

He's not going to be raked. He called Adam Clymer an asshole over the public address system at a campaign rally and no one gave a **** about that. The ignorant inbred Jed dumbasses who worship Dubya would applaud him if he flipped off Congress.

Again, that W is a primate with transposable thumbs defies belief.

opposable

I could not resist correcting you!

http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionar...ble+&x=21&y=12

Main Entry: op·pos·able
Pronunciation: &-'pO-z&-b&l
Function: adjective
1 : capable of being opposed or resisted
2 : capable of being placed against one or more of the remaining digits of a hand or foot (the opposable human thumb)
- op·pos·abil·i·ty /-"pO-z&-'bi-l&-tE/ noun

Otherwise, I agree, I would have thought he'd be lower on the evolutionary ladder.
