Hell yeah. Beautiful sights, but I couldn't handle the poverty, disease, and lack of sanitation. I'm too much of luxury snob to tour Third World stuff.

that's one way to look at it, but looking at it from within a society that religiously believes in determinism, it may not look that horrible.

i got a looooong set of vaccinations before i went, so i was supposed to be protected against all basic hazards, but since things aren't getting any better, i'm starting to wonder about more exotic diseases, especially kinds unknown to western medicine

Great pictures! Not at all how I pictured India. Not sure if I'm ready for that type of third-world adventure... Costa Rica is the closest I've been to that kind of a trip.
