I'd also cut as much sodium as possible out of her diet, & take her off that damn Atkins regimen.

I agree, get off Atkins and go for a sensible diet... lots of good protein like chicken breast and fish, lots of veggies, small portions six times a day, cut out the sodium and sugar, drink water and green tea, no juice or soda and hit the gym hard with a personal trainer.

I agree, but I wouldn't think she is still on Atkins. I like to think our stevie knows the value of veggies....

I dont shes doin atkins 100% because if she was very strict she would likely be smaller than that..Maybe shes doin the south beach diet, which is similar to Atkins, but u can have some breads, veggies and fruits...whatever it is she looks great and more healthy than she has looked in awhile...

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell. Oh, btw, I think she looks good now... better than she did 15 years ago. Not too many people can say that.

nope, i just so happen to totally agree with that diet philosophy... i would also add to that to cut out anything white as well, like white pasta and white bread... but again, i agree... so here's another kiss

Cool, that's what I thought...

I talk about eating healthy but it's not easy... I just stopped by Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream. It's so tempting... it's only a few blocks from where I live. Damn Cold Stone Creamery!

Going without ice cream and sweets doesn't bother me a bit... but live without pasta or pizza? HA!
No thank you.

it's not easy... i used to be a sugar-holic myself.. then i completely gave it up and i rarely indulge.... but with pasta, it is much harder to give up... i'm part Italian, so maybe that has something to do with it

I'm half-Italian, too, so I feel your pain.

I did South Beach for about 4 weeks, and lost 20 pounds. I picked up some great tips from it, but there's no way I'm cutting out pasta and pizza to the degree that you have to on those low-carb diets.

you could always try low-carb pasta or low-carb bread

or even better... "spelt" pasta... ever hear of it??? almost the same amount of carbs that regular pasta has but rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals... plus it digests slower than regular pasta, so it doesnt turn to fat when you eat it

I did for a while afterwards, but the taste just isn't the same. I don't eat things just to eat them, I eat them for the taste... so I wasn't willing to compromise any longer, and went back to the "real" thing. *lol*

I've never heard of it, but I'd be willing to at least give it a try.

A GREAT brand of lo-carb pasta is "Dreamfields". I always find it at Vons. I believe it's got a third of the carbs of regular pasta, and I swear I can't tell the difference.
I do South Beach and my girlfriend does Atkins and it works well for both of us.

i never for a second thought she'd color her hair THAT dark but i love the Timespace hair and thought that was more her real hair. However, I have very very thick blonde hair. i think Stevie's is very similar with or without her extensions so being able to tell whether or not she is wearing a wig is more difficult than it might ordinarily be.
