I loved those too - with the weight machine and Robert saying, "You don't even know what this is..."

Marie: "Yes I do! It's a sex machine!!!"

I feel SO bad for Robert and Amy in those eps though...

I'm not getting these three. How were they pushing taboos? (I'm not attacking your choices, I just don't understand.)

Please, it was a great premise to have F & M asked to leave their new place.

As far as feeling bad for Robert, the best are his FBI interview & the one where he finds out at the end that it's his birthday.

Oh no - that premise WAS hilarious - and so typical - Frank and Marie are just horrid people

Oh - The FBI interview one - ugh - I can't watch that one anymore - Marie is just over the top - same with Robert's wedding - there are episoded where Marie pisses me off SO much.

What about the one where Frank gives out condoms as Halloween cany by mistake for edgy And then ray gets one of them back and it turns out to really be a chocalate coin

Jessica! Pay attention to the thread title or I'll have to send you to the principal's office!

JK, I figured that's what you did, but then I was like "maybe I missed something really groundbreaking on these shows - I'd better find out!"

And then he sits in it and it hits him in the groin I loved that episode. Although I think they ended the right way. It was basically just another episode, with a little more emotion. But it was still hilarious. Marie jumping in bed with Ray was one of the funniest things in the show ever. And then my personal favorite moment was Ray jumping up and down rubbing himself and then Robert walks in and says "I guess now we'll watch Raymond do ANYTHING"

Yep, ever since they forgot what good writing was. Now they depend on guest stars and lame double entedres.

And Debra on the phone with a neighbor, explaining that it wasn't a political statement.

LOL Okay. I shall go back and fix it. I've been to the principal's office too many times and I care not to go back.

Marie is my favorite part of the show. I laugh the hardest when she's like that.
Being rolled in the chair to the family photo, complaining that Twister was a sex game, choosing Frank's next spouse. And remember Marie's "intervention" with Robert's exes & his police partner episode? "What is with this man and onions?"

They just re-aired My So-Called Life here on the Family channel - every night at 11:30pm... they aired it without commercials. I loved this show SO much the first time around - I couldn't understand why it got cancelled. I loved Rayanne and Ricky the most. I wanted to BE Rayanne!

Another show I loved but that didn't last long - and sorta pushed the envelope - was Once and Again. That show with the impossibly beautful Sela Ward and Billy Campbell - only lasted 2 esasons I tihnk. Where I thought they were especially brilliant and did something no other series had done was in their portrayal of anorexia. Evan Rachel Wood was absolutely brilliant, and it was the most realistic portrayal of it I've ever seen. I loved this show so much - made me bawl. Their portrayal of divorce and stepfamilies was also very realistic.

Never saw Once & Again, but my mom liked it.

Hey, nobody has mentioned Cagney And Lacey. Dealt with cancer, alcoholism, discrimination in the workplace.
