Even though Street Angel was a kick ass tour she was a blimp. The inauguration doesn't even compare.

ok, well, i was at the Street Angel tour - front row, so i kinda know first hand.. she really wasn't that fat... her hair was big, but her figure was not... i would venture to say she was even heavier during the "Whole Lotta Trouble" tour of 1991... but yeah, she was never bigger than in 1993 during the inauguration...

We're not saying anything bad about her. We're saying she has lost weight and looks hot now. What's so bad about that?

Get outta my brain! I was thinking the exact same thing. I hope the reasons for her weight loss are healthy ones. I think they partially are. On the SYW tour, particularly the last leg, she had a ton of trouble with her vocal chords. She was on steriods for the swelling etc. That makes people bloated. The scarf , which Stevie uses to try and hide her problem area, only draws attention to her neck. There is no way she was at her heaviest last year. No way. Combine the steriods with menopause and you have some puffiness.

Stevie always seems to thin down when she is happy in her personal life, ie Dance/Enchanted, and that is what is most likely part of what is happening now. Maybe lots of sex?
I hope that is the reason and it is not something else.

Mirror, I was thinking the same thing. I always hope when weight threads start up that Stevie doesn't catch wind of them, even filtered versions. It is a tough thing for her.
I prolly should have not posted either.

Brian, I have the Inauguration on the Going Home Doc dvd...some backstage footage of it and the performance. If you want to trade that two dvd set for maybe the Hershey cds...I am willing and able. PM me if you want it. (I hate watching that damn Inaug. footage and rarely do it. The best part is backstage, or maybe it is off to the side of the stage where Lindsey is holding tightly to Stevie's hand..it is very cute and 'protective' looking. John is also holding Chris's hand if I remember correctly and Mick, well, he is all alone.)
