That's so weird, the first 10 seconds is what I don't like, 'cause it sounds like Stevie is straining so much. But, that's really the only reason, soo....clean up that whiny, strainy, vocal, Stevelah!

I like the keyboards right after she sings "signs of light." Then it's downhill.

I'm sure you'll have people that agree with you. I think it's uphill. But, I prefer to see things as "half uphill" rather than "mostly downill"

You could have just used the votes from round one to break the tie. Love Changes had 13 votes, and Too Far From Texas had 3. Quite simple.

Default Round Two Repeat....LOVE CHANGES
Bye bye Love Changes. Once again, TFFT is ok...hate the Dixie Chick but I like Stevie's vocal. Love Changes on the other hand is stinky. I especially hate the line "when love leaves you burning at the side of the road". When have you ever been on the side of a road, Stevie?

Amber...I agree about MY HEART. I really love the song. The vocal could be cleaned up, it is a demo afterall. (might have something to do with why Stevie only wants us to have finished songs) The lyrics are so heartfelt and genuine and I like how she wrote about her own desires, feelings, excitement instead of "his". I actually think that is why she dumped the song...too revealing, a bit too personal for Stevie.
(does anyone else get a sexual vibe in the "stand before you" line? I know a ton of people think this song is only about her onstage relationship with LB and I know that some of the song is about how she feels with him onstage. However, I do not think that is the bulk of the song and the "my heart still stops when I stand before you" does not strike me as an onstage moment. Rather it sounds like an intimate one. )
