Brandon Flowers is a Mormon? Wow, I obviously haven't read NME enough recently. I wouldn't have guessed that from their lyrics.

Not really a fan, but I thought the Killers were okay on Live 8. Snow Patrol were better though.
I have to say I got the latest Later With Jools Holland DVD and The Killers are on it, it's an early performance and Flowers looks completely different. Me thinks the record company did some restyling...

Ryan is the walking Flowers Encyclopedia, he could shed more light on his being a Mormon. I cracked up when I first found it out. You don't hear of many Mormons these days, especially in cheesy mallpop bands.

I pawned off my copy of their album to a used record store a couple of days after I bought it. I think I traded it in for Western Wall by Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, actually.

Without an ounce of shame, I declare my love of...Make Believe Bands!!!!

The Monkees (sort of a real band, or at least they became one)
The Partridge Family (the session players//production was first rate)

Was fascinated by them as a child of the early 1970's. Still dig them today.

He is mormon, tho he defies the religion a lot by smoking and drinking. So he's a sometimes mormon. And he only has one wife (one female wife at least ).

Ooo I'm just reading about him here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Killers_(band)

There's an argument at the bottom of the page over whether he's bisexual or not!

But doesn't that make most rock stars gay then ?

Talking of rock stars and models, I saw a clip of Bryan Ferry singing with Twiggy today. It was horrifying.

Twiggy needs to go away. Now, please. She drove me nuts on the fourth season of Ab Fab.

Nah, I just don't like his music. Sounds too labored and fake. I wouldn't kick him out of bed, though.

Is that a banana in his pocket or is he just happy to see Ryan?

He looks ass in that pic. He's one of those dudes that can look good but then look really bad. I retract my "wouldn't kick him out of bed" comment.
