Random thought: Somebody here (you know who you are and thank you!

) sent me a DVD with FM/SN/LB videos. Ok, I should be posting this in one of the other forums, but I'm too lazy to start a thread. Lindsey's videos suck. Most of them anyway. Countdown wasn't so bad. He either looked like a bad punk ripoff wannabe or very girly. He also can't lip sync for ****. Gawd! FM's videos were a little lame, too. What does leading a horse through the desert have to do with holding someone?

Tusk is my fave of the FM videos. I love it when Stevie is twirling her baton and marching. But, gawd, this pains me to say this..a lot of Stevie's videos were over the top, too. I love the earlier days when she still had the overbite and her hair was realistic. Am I the only one who thinks she was sexier with the overbite?

During the 80s, she kind of started to look like a drag queen and her hair was WAY too big. Too much makeup also. Stevie really does get better with age because the 80s were overkill for her in every way. Pics don't do it justice. Anyway, just a few thoughts on the videos.

Maybe he'll take a risk.

He sounds cute. Maybe you guys can just date casually for awhile, and it will at least be fun, you know what I mean? Like, fun summer dating? It's always nice to have someone to date in the summer, I think. And then, maybe he'll want to really date you, but if he doesn't, you still had fun with someone you like.

Oh, and thanks for quoting Grease to me, that made it all complete...

What happend to it? It disappered after 1983 (at which time she also stopped biting her lip which was too cute

) I used to have an overbite but braces and headgear took care of it. Obviously she didn't wear braces so anybody have any clue as to how she got rid of it so quickly? Some kind of retainer perhaps? I think it was sexy. I miss the overbite. Maybe I'll start a Stevie overbit appriciation thread.

um, I mostly agree with you, although I like the cheesy videos, too. I have only seen one of Lindsey's, but I've recently heard he doesn't lip sync too well, but on the other hand, I think he's a way better actor, as far as expressions in his eyes, than Stevie. Stevie looks VEEEERY wooden to me.
I didn't know she got her teeth fixed! I definitely like her more natural, better. My fave, (besides the Angel part of the tusk documentary) is the TUSK video, too. Everyone looks so natural, and sunny and fun, like they're all out for a barbecue and softball game. I really love it. And stevie's baton twirling in see through tube dress is one of my most favorite moments ever.
When I first saw the later stevie videos, pretty recently (within the last year) I, too, was shocked by the cheesyness. And I don't like overdone hair anyway. But they've grown on me, partly because of the cheesiness. I Can't Wait is sooooo cheesy that it's hilarious and good.
