I have to say - though Homer is often wrong, stubborn, muleheaded, and one who incorreclty bashes the chiffoned one and all who worship at her altar - he is no troll, which I think he was just called.

Note: wrong, stubborn, muleheaded, etc. could easily be applied to moi - though being a resident chiffonhead grants me automatic exoneration and immunity

That reminds me of people who constantly try to compare New York and Los Angeles. Stevie IS no Bob Dylan. But neither is any other master songwriter I can think of right now. Neil Young, Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Tweedy, etc.

But for a change of subject, I was thinking the other day -

What do you think a Stevie Nicks version of The B-52's "Dance This Mess Around" would sound like?

I was wondering exactly that... I think someone brought it up a couple of days ago...

You are free to express your opinion, but you should take others into consideration as well. You seem to think your opinion supercedes everyone elses. Your only participation in a Stevie thread is to remind everyone of your negative opinion of her, which is why I found the troll thing funny. I know you are not a troll.
There are many that may feel you have blinders on when it comes to Chris, but how many rush to tell you that every chance they get? I am all for having discussions and listening to others opinions just not when they are so predictable. I enjoy and often agree with your post when your not taking a cheap shot at Stevie

I should probably bite my tongue and leave it at that but what the heck, I suppose I started this.

You've claimed before that your incessant Stevie slamming was solely done because you get a kick out of putting chiffonheads in a twirl and ruffling their feathers. Your very own holy crusade to knock the heathen goddess off her pedestal.

So your hiding behind the role of a poster being victimized for expressing his opinions when reminded of your own modus operandi is glaringly out of character my dear, especially in the light of such a little jab. Where has that wonderful sense of humor we keep hearing about gone to? Self-derision not included?

And ALL this came from someone asking if Stevie took herself too seriously, at which point I mentioned the Bob Dylan comment(and you agreed, Hillary, I might point out). Things, collectively, rolled downhill from there.

Things usually start out innocent enough, that's very true. It's the comments that came afterward in which I personally found fault. And about taking herself too seriously, I did agree to an extent. I said "sometimes" and I acknowledged that other band members are that way, too.

I must say that I get a FAR BIGGER headache from the words/actions of the current administration than the debates on The Ledge!
