I'm picking up bits & pieces from people's comments.
Incidentally, my father told me the other night that he saw billboards in AC for the Borgata show & I should fly in for it. This was the guy who flipped out when I did that for The Dance. I'm hoping he's mellowing or becoming a Stevie fan, & that it's not senility. (Shut up, Dissention. )
Glad you guys had a good time.

Your father and my grandmother should hang out. She gave me her Borgata card so I could park for free and then handed me newspaper clippings of ads for the show and told me about the billboards I told my father I was debating on going tonight--he just stared at me. Apparently he's not mellowing but he was funny last night...

Dad: "So how was the show? Front row?"
Me: "Good. Pretty much. She came up and shook our hands."
Dad: "Did she put money in them?"
Me: "No."
Dad: "Then what good is that?"

See, but the $18 lawn seats make up for the overpriced margaritas

It would have been better had it been made by the best Starbucks barista/shift supervisor ever

Maybe if you tell your dad she's fixing your car?
I did tell you my grandmother lived in a condo on the boardwalk from when I was about five to twenty, didn't I?
She used to go to the Miss America shows. And two casino trips a day.
But I can't imagine her at a Stevie show. She'd be telling Stevie to pick the stuffed animals off the stage before somebody trips.

Fix my car? She should buy me a new one. Guess what died yesterday and had to be fixed this morning? My turn signal. It never ends

Yes. You did. Right next to DipStix

Your grandmother would be telling Stevie to pick the stuffed animals off the stage while my grandmother would be scooping them up to stick in the back windshield of her car

Please tell me that she can see over the wheel.

It was NOT near Dipstix. Near Ventnor.

Did I tell you my dad drove a jitney during his college summers?
Those things can bounce.
Personally, I was always fascinated by the tram.

And sorry about the turn signal. I didn't even know those were USED in Jersey.

Won't happen until after I put down money on a broker.

She can but bless her heart--she's incredibly dippy. We call her One Way May--her car only goes to the shore (her boyfriend lives there)

Nope, you never told me that before but it's not a bad gig I suppose.

See, now, my favorite tram is in Wildwood "WAH-WAH-WAH-WATCH THE TRAM CAR, PLEASE"

Oh, they're not used--just like yield signs. However, they are used by me Turn signal was fixed this morning for free. Score.

I think she'll be OK. She's been in indoor venues. I just think she looks physically and mentally drained but she still goes out there and rocks.

As soon as I saw the top hat, I recalled you saying that you wished she bought it out. She did a little dance before she went up to the mic and sing, then took the hat off at the end and was waving it around. Very cool.

You don't think she is sick do you? I am freaked that she is going to start canceling shows. I would cry!

Oh man, can you imagine getting thrown out of the show by STEVIE?

It seems my concert going days are over for now so perhaps--just MAYBE Kelly and I can share the luck. I don't think I've sat farther than row 4 since the beginning of the SYW tour.
