And, just Stevie and Lindsey singing, no backing vocals.
I could get on board with this, even if they never have a new release!

I think the only Lindsey "solo" material we'll ever see will be a repeat of what happened last time...it'll be released as a FM album...if they, in fact, ever release anything again! Sorry to be such a pessimist, but if there's still no word of a release date for a Lindsey solo album.... Time's a wastin'! Of course, I'd still prefer that he do a solo thing, with a tour!

I'd love to see one too, but with his track resord for putting stuff out, plus the fact that his albums dont sell well, I think He'el be more inclined to listen to the record executives whispers in his ear about the Mac payout. It still pisses me off that a grea album like OTC sold fewer than 100,000 copies!!!

Red face

I would like to see them fullfill Lindsey/Mick's original vision of a double album for 2007's 40th anniversary of the band.......along with a huge tour. I think that would be a good way for them to go out, since they're all gonna be about 60 yrs old.........and it would be too much to ask to hope Christine might be involved SOMEHOW.

I am holding out great hope for something like this, too. With, hopefully, participation from every member who is physically and mentally able. And then a big ass farewell tour!

(Which preferably never ends)

Nah. Fleetwood Mac is too cool for the farewell tour thing. And, even if they say "this is it," it's not like they haven't individually said that before.

Haven't they been doing those since 1982?

I predict and this is being really optimistic

2 more Stevie Albums maybe both studio maybe 1 live. because I believe reading before TISL was released she signed a 3 cd deal.

1 more Fleetwood Mac Studio album and maybe 1 more live one as well.
1 more DVD

1 more Mick Solo Cd

Lindsey I don't want to hold my breathe for it, but possible 1 more studio or maybe soundstage cd.

All of this within the next 5 years.

I'm predicting that the band will have a new album out in 2007, because there is usually a three to four year space between albums with them. 2003+4= 2007 I think that they will tour after. Then, after this project, we might see a solo project from Lindsey and Stevie, but I don't think that it will happen before. Lindsey is probably doing all this work right now on a solo album, and he will end up giving half the song to the new Fleetwood Mac album, unfortunate but true.
