ummm.. so are you just as much a fan of putting gas in your car as you are a Stevie fan? my point is, if you are spending your money on something else you enjoy rather than seeing Stevie, than great.. but certainly you would get maybe just a little more fun out of seeing a rock legend on stage performing familiar songs than a gas attendent filling up your tank, yes?

Of course I do. She couldn't fake such a bad performance if she tried.

Revoke my fan card, please. It's obviously not as golden as yours. Please forgive me.

Is it that hard to understand that I just don't feel like paying to see her this year?

Maybe, but why would she give up that $$$$ per show - but she may get that even though she fell sick via insurance, etc.

I usually forget stuff related to tours, but didn't Fleetwood Mac make up most of the dates they had to postpone when Stevie was sick?
All but Pittsburgh, if I remember correctly. But maybe I don't.

Why would you reschedule at show on the same date as ANOTHER SHOW? Very unprofessional.

nope, but for such a big "fan" as yourself, your justification for not going was rather weak, imo..

Oh - I think they took advantage of the fact that she was sick to cancel Pitts (wan't that the show) - but she was still sick, etc.

You know, I'm not down with the whole "who's a bigger fan" thing, but I'm suprised you don't want to see her at least once this year - it may never get better than this. I mean, I totally see your point, but I feel like this may be the last good Stevie Round for awhile. You didn't want to see just one?? For your mind's posterity?

No other date to reschedule the better selling venue, so you sacrifice a lower selling date.
Makes sense to me.

I didn't know it was my job to justify my not going to the likes of yourself. My bad.

I can put my money to better use, simple as that.

Makes sense to me.

Plus, they may not have been able to work in a rescheduling dur to a variety of conflicts.

Okay - I have a funny story for you guys. I work for a DJ in Dallas, doing some production work from time to time on his morning show. A couple of years ago, we sold a bottle of "Celebrity Air" on e-bay. We took an air sample from the area around the microphone, created a special label and put it up for auction.

Stevie was one of the celebrities we listed as she had once spoken in that microphone. We had about 20 others. We did the whole thing for charity, raising money for poor kids to go to summer camp.

The bidding closed at $510.00. It was paid by a man who had a child who had attended camp a few years ago when he didn't have any money and he wanted to give something back to the community.

I thought you might get a kick out of the story!

Patty
