Looks to me like Stevie kind of feels like she's racing for time. If she waits a few years, so she's not oversaturating the markets, it's possible she feels as if the interest won't be there then, so she'd better do it now..

Exactly...and we don't know how much she's making on this tour. Even if she only sells 6000 tickets a night, with these prices a lot of money can still be made..as long as she isn't demanding as much per night as she would with the Mac

Well don't forget Enchanted and TISL didn't have many sell outs either, some shows didn't sell well at all...and they still booked her again in 2005, right after a mammoth Mac tour

Well, they have been doing it for her entire career, though BD was not that long or large of a of a tour

I mean even SA was booked in larger venues like she is playing now. So, I think she can always be a bankable draw to some extent.

I think the current solo tour was her effort to save the promoters from any cash lost on Henley's inability to play the second half of the two voices tour, which sold well according to the sources cited here.

On a related note, I also give her credit for sticking it out and playing with a vengence. I also think that at 60, she will no longer do this and she realizes that.

Taking into account that she's getting up there in age and touring too much, I think her days of being booked on such a large scale at big venues are numbered. Pretty soon there will come a time when they simply won't want to continue booking her. That's just my opinion.

I agree. I thought you were saying something different

Though I think that if she releases another record to any acclaim, she will do the sheds and maybe medium arenas.

Wasnt Cleveland one of the highest priced shows on this tour? I bet the lower priced shows will do better. I say summerfest will be near a sellout and tomorrow's cincinati show should do well with top ticket prices of $75

I'm not a fan of big shows, I've always preferred small and intimate ones. That's why I'm salivating at the thought of Lindsey doing a small solo tour; it's guaranteed to hit the tiny venues and he's sure to play lots of rarities that he doesn't get to play when he's with Fleetwood Mac.

She might be able to do Wild Heart if she got rid of the gymnastics and did it more like the make-up demo thing. I could see Think About It, Sable on Blonde, and Gate and Garden working that way too.

Hell, I'd even give her a couple extra months to rehearse.

I'd go see that Stevie show. Especially if they would drop me off and pick me up at the door.

I agree...Also I dont see why she doesnt do like some people do when they play big arenas, and only sell certain portions, and block the rest off with curtains...you can turn an arena into a cool looking theatre

You're right. Cleveland was the highest priced....but there was so much grass showing in the lawn, even Lindsey couldn't smoke it all.

I just have a feeling Stevie will fizzle out before this tour is over.

Exactly!!!! Then, if you email everyone (including Ticketmaster) and piss THEM off, you have to go thru a broker. I swear for three solid days the same 3 seats in row BB kept coming up....THREE DAYS!! Don't think I didn't go off about that. Soooo, my tickets cost a small fortune, but I figure I'll make a round or two before I kick off!!!
