Default Ledge Stuck again....

I hate it when the Ledge gets stuck and won't load. It happened to me this afternoon. If nothing else it sure hits home how much time you spend on here when you can't get on... I sure don't want it to disappear like it did awhile back. Please support the ledge if you can. (That's why some of us have different colored names). It's quick and easy...(I feel like the PBS telethon) Give now! Okay back to our regular station broadcasts.

I was at work & posting & all this happened at once. The Ledge wouldn't load. Then my laptop died. Then a thunderstorm came & I left for home. Now that I'm home I'm glad it wasn't just something with my computer (at least in terms of The Ledge).

Of course, we must express thanks to Marty & Lis for keeping the site running smoothly as much as humanly possible. Don't want to bitch & seem too ungrateful.

Yup. I bet they didn't know they would become Zoo keepers when they got older! All us "animals" in here keep them on their toes!

Well, WHAT is the problem? I don't think lack of funding is making it shut down.
Lis, is it hackers again?

I think hackers are still occasionally a problem. Marty just mentioned this a few nights ago. My brother in law is really helpful in dealing w/ this stuff --but he works, as does Marty (and I am useless when it comes to this stuff)-- so sometimes it takes a bit of time to get things sorted. I hate it as much as the rest of you when the Ledge is down! sorry to be the cause of anyone's frustration....

I don't really understand much about this stuff either. WHY do they do it? Are they using your connection for their own use, or are they just blocking anyone else from using it, for their own amusement?

Any frustration is minor and compared to what you all do with this site is easily taken in stride

We are low on funds as well, and every little bit helps. Thanks to all who contribute.
