Have to agree there. The only good thing about Stevie's "Chain" was its novelty.

I hope John got something sometime. It would be kind of embarrassing to be the only guy in the Rumours line-up who hasn't knocked boots with Stevie.

Well, in that case I wonder if Christine felt left out? But then again the 70's + lots of blow==who knows-they could have had "shared a moment" as well.

Um... probably because she came up only to ass height on him.

But there's no way... he would have split her open like a pomegranate. . I mean, have you seen those big hands??

Didn't Sheryl Crow do this live recently on one of her tours also?

I'm pretty sure that Don "plays for the home team" in terms of booty buddies or that's what I've heard from a few folks. Bill

if a copy is out there, I will find it...Ya know I have a reputation to keep via bootlegs

Btw, I do have the July 13,1998 Grand Rapids show if ya need a copy, And yes that show is rockin'

There was hardly ANY space up in the front (besides for the first two rows of ppl) to shake her hand on edge and that pissed me off as well

I have a list of songs she played, I tried to do this in the best order I can remember (can you believe I forgot already?)

Vanessa by the way I was very impressed with her...it was just her and her piano and she was cracking up jokes the whole time it was great...and I think more of her now as a very good performer and songwriter...

Also, Vanessa did not do any songs with Stevie

List

Outside the Rain
Dreams
Enchanted
Stop Draggin My Heart Around
Rhiannon
Sorcerer
Gold Dust Woman
Stand Back
I Need To Know
Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You
Circle Dance
Fall From Grace
Edge of Seventeen
Been a long time (and yes folks, she tore the **** outta this song)
Beauty and the Beast

Notes:
- She kept curls in her hair until EO17
- LOTS of twirling, more than I've ever seen her do
- Rhiannon -snore- seriously... except she screamed the I DONT THINK YOU DO like las vegas
- Dedicated HAWEFY to the one.org and talked about it
- Talked about talking to Bonnie Rait, she now knows that Stevie has been singing Circle Dance and was thrilled.
- Gold Dust Woman scream was different (a little bit)
- She told us the whole band has been in GR for a week and she loves it
- For all you Sister of the Boob people, there was some tremendous cleavage going on

Things I didn't like:
- Security Guards
- No How Still My Love or If Anyone Falls
- The tempo of all the songs were very slow
- Stupid idiot next to me who kept having to pee and making me move (aka beer man)
- She was dancing around a little bit, but during the first half I dunno if she was just sort of uncomfortable, or felt really tired...but she picked it up later...she kinda looked drunk on the video screens
- I didn't bring my camera
- Kink in my neck (I had to turn my head to the right to see everything, I was right on the edge)
- Smelled like pot through GDW (how ironic)

Singing wise...her E017 wail about made my jaw drop to the floor...it was kinda like the Saturday Vegas show but she let it out for a loooong time, until waddy changes the chord
I also noticed she kinda started singing a little bit lower in some parts again...

Circle dance I thought was MUCH better with her singing it alone

Studded pants came out in Led Zepplin song, display had psychadelic kalidascope screen...and when stevie goes "been a LONELY, LONELY, LONELY, LONELY, TIIIIME she threw her fist out, it was cute...

And I think the bitch has been losin weight again, she is SOOOOO incredibly skinny...her face looks much thinner than SYW shows

Overall, I give it an A ...best concert she has done in GR in my opinion

Edit: OH, and her new piano player....THE BEST cant remember his name but he was very good.

2nd Edit: And as far as I remember, there were no unicorns

Humm, I think Sorcerer and I Need to Know need to go. And while I love Stevie doing new stuff, it's a shame that she's doing two covers, with the amount of material she has to draw from out of her own songs. I also have a few ideas about updating Rhiannon but that's for another thread.

She names Waddy in this paragraph but are you reading what she's actually saying? I read those same words and I don't see her talking about Waddy except for the part where she names him. I guess it depends on what you know about everything else in the mix as to how you interpret this.
