I'll go with that.
No, but she certainly likes to team up with them, hence her having Shrub and all of his dunces on her show while Kerry was relegated to that egomaniacal, twisted f*ck we call Phil (the man that cost Bambi her leg!). I'm actually surprised you don't blame her a little for giving you The Gropenfuehrer for a governor, that appearance on her show help him incredibly. Just another example of her star****ing, I suppose.

if she paid the tax, the people who she paid the tax for would have to pay the tax on Okra paying the tax - welcome to the Fed. and state system of progressive tax

I'll remember that the next time one of your huge clients calls you after 5:00 p.m. Remember, don't answer the phone then

Also from a business stand point, it's never bad to have Oprah want to come in..if I was the owner, I might be a little upset with the employees. If Oprah came knocking on my store door at 9 30 (we close at 9)---not that she would...you'd better believe I'd open those doors! Lol...You would think they would want to accomodate a high spending customer like Oprah

Chris
That's what I was thinking! GF is loaded and you don't let her come in and shop? Dumb.

So she'd have to give them 10 or 11 grand so that after taxes they could still pay their tax. Stupid tax system.

Exactly. I hate the celebrity ass kissing too. I didn't know she had shrub on her show. She seems to try not to say anything overtly political. She did have a show before the election encouraging everyone to get their butts out and vote. She and her guests stated that it was the most important vote of their lifetimes. Cameran Diaz was on, of course, and she was upset and said something about being very frightened about the way things were going. So without saying it they said to get out and vote to get shrub out.

Oprah gives lots of money to charities. She has her Angel Network set up for this. It shocks me that so many of you hate her. How do you hate Oprah? Do you have a heart?

Question

I haven't read any of the other posts about the topic...but I don't feel ONE damn bit sorry for Oprah. It must be tough making millions and going to Paris to go shopping. Ugh. These celebs.

You bet your ass I would!!! lol....I'd design ANYTHING for Oprah!!!

I saw her speak last year in Vegas and let me say that she is a very inspiring individual.

She has worked her way up from nothing and if she wants to shop in a damn store 15 minutes after they close then I say LET HER! I mean the employees were still there - they probably hadn't even closed out the cash registers yet - honestly - if I put myself in Oprah's place I'd be pissed off too!

By the way - OPRAH ROCKS!!!

Can you imagine what that watch for Tina would have cost? Not to mention what else Auntie O might have picked up while she was browsing...

These stores are always staying open late to accomodate their customers, who spend thousands in there - let's put it this way an ashtray is like $400 - fortunately a friend gave me three different sized green ones with a Scottie on each - needless to say I was FLOORED!!!!!!!!!!!!
