Oh, no, you'd probably have to do music. I'm sorry, from the way you two were talking, I assumed you were both excellent singers and superb piano players and song writers.

I think he only played guitar on "White Houses," but I can't hear him on it. Too much piano and strings covering up whatever he did...you can listen to it on Vanessa's website (vanessacarlton.com).

There was a Time Warner Cable commercial here in Austin that featured Vanessa BUTCHERING the Stones' tune "Time is On My Side" Every time it came on it was like nails on a chalkboard. Her CLUNK-CLUNK-KERPLUNK plodding piano (sounded like a 5 year old just learning how to play) accompanied by that horrendous voice of hers made me wanna pop open a fresh vein in a warm bathtub.
I think Vanessa sucks too. I do, however, think it's sweet how Stevie gets all protective over these young singers. But I wish she'd get clucky over someone good for once instead of Michelle Branch and the Dixie Chicks...

Nope, we're in the same boat as Vanessa Carlton.

Just because someone can write a song or sing or play an instrument, it doesn't make them good.
