We may never find out what goes on behind the curtain.

What seems clear is that Stevie looks fit, happy and puts on an incredible energized show. I agree with another poster who says this is an amazing band. Perhaps this is because a lot of them were already up and running with Stevie during the Fleetwood Mac show. Stevie specified Brett and Carlos as having been through all the shows with FM, and Jana did a fair share. "And didn't miss a note." Stevie and Waddy did a great job picking out the new drummer and pianist.

Speaking of Waddy, he seems to be having a good time, joking around with both Stevie and Don. Last night Stevie called Waddy "the love of her life," and continues to come up with a funny new title for him at each show. They seem to be very good friends and Waddy has the band charged up. I hope this tour DOES last until December, and gives more people a chance to see them. I've read on fan sites there's a chance of Don coming back to do more shows with Stevie after The Eagles finish the Hotel Calfornia tour. Has anyone heard any more about that?

I agree with you. Waddy does seem to be a lot happier on this tour. On TISL Stevie kind of forced him to come and go on tour with her. Now he seems to want to come on every tour she does. I was surprised when I was listening to the Jimm Ladd interview that he came to her to see Celine and Elton's show and he was the one that was like how long do we have. I am glad he is with her again.I wonder how it must have felt for Carlos about being bumped out of the lead guitarist spot. He doesn't seem too happy these days IMO.

You should have gone up! I was too lazy to move and after someone lit up behind us, I started to get a headache. Justin, who purchased my other ticket from me (he's blinker12) went up and ended up shaking her hand (i'm assuming he passed right by you).

Too funny...
Yeah, I heard you tell him to go up on Edge. I should have followed his lead.

I know what you mean about feeling funny when introducing yourself. I had a not so nice experience at an FM show when I tried to talk to some fanatics beside me in the front row. They said, "We are from MICK'S BOARD . . . we don't slum on the other boards". What pompous bitches they were. Anyway, I am happy to know that it was you I knew that you looked familiar to me somehow.

You should have! I had no idea I was sitting next to another Ledgie... Oh well. I'm glad you were a Stevie fan, though... there were a couple times when I started going out of control yelling and dancing, and I thought, "Gee, I hope these people beside me aren't big Don fans and completely annoyed with me..."

Talking What adifference a week makes!!

QUOTE=skcin]I thought he seemed pretty happy in Pittsburgh too. I was surprised that people were saying he seems angry/annoyed/bored/whatever at other shows.[/QUOTE]
I can't believe how different Don Henley was at the Hershey show! I went to the CT show one week earlier and the man could of been a cardboard cutout with Stevie loving all over him!!!
Stevie's magic must be working on the guy. I thought he was animated..he kissed Stevie twice! I loved the slow dancing part..Stevie remarked "that was fun!" There was some banter back and forth and they held hands when they walked on and off stage.
One week ago Stevie grabbed her mike and sung "at" him and he looked straight ahead or sang with his eyes closed. At Hershey they really played off each other and sang to each other. It was very nice.
Don't get me wrong it was the same great music both nights but now the duets really are great because there appears to be some emotion on stage.

Stevie sounds like a giggling teenager right now, when she and Don were slow dancing and she said "that was fun" to her teasing him with the counting thing. It's obvious he's having more fun, too. You're right that she wasn't animated like that at all for SYW. Now, she looks and obviously feels better and is having a great time. Seeing her in Vegas and now reading these reviews and comparing how she is now to how she was last year, it's a staggering difference. I'm happy for the Eagles fans, but I really wish Don didn't have the commitment with them right now and could keep touring with Stevie. I really would like to see this. I saw a taste of it in Vegas, but it sounds like she keeps getting happier and is having a blast.

What was up with her during SYW?

Good question. It wasn't just SYW, though -- it was TISL too. I guess she was having her hip problems, and a lot of people have speculated about her going through menopause around that time. Both seem like good explanations.

Ironically, for someone who changes her set list so little, I think Stevie thrives on novelty. That's why she was so good during The Dance -- FM was back together and it was exciting. By SYW, the novelty had worn off a bit, and Christine wasn't there; I think she missed her friend. Now, she's on the road with Don, something she's never done before, and it's exciting for her.

What show was that at? That is just awful. I would not expect that kind of attitude from Mac fans. We Ledgies rock!

I had a similar experience in Vegas. This lady was like "Where do YOU post" so I said The Ledge and Buckinghamnicks - she essentially walked way without significant comment leaving me sniffing my underarms to make sure I had indeed put on deoderant.

The June 2004 Hershey show. My only front row experience . . . but, hey, LB played his Come solo in front of me, so that made everything ok in my book

But, yeah . . . those chicks were so full of themselves . . . as soon as they said anything about that board . . . I knew enough to end that conversation.
