Do you think the fans will riot, as promised, if he is found guilty?

My bet is not guilty on all but the liquor chrages, if those are still there. But, the odds I'd say are 60 not guilty to 40 guilty.

Allison DuBois said a couple months ago that the verdict would be less severe than the truth of the situation should require.

I took from the request for the accuser's testimony that they were reconciling the direct contradiction of that by the alleged victim a la M. Caulkin. But, we shall see. The problem with this case is the prosecution put on no really credible witness - every witness has sold their story, been contradicted, etc. So, they are relying on the fact that (1) MJ looks like a freak and (2) it is in general creepy that little kids stay over there - to convict him.

I know, and to be clear I am not hoping that will happen. Just curious if people think they will or not.

Here are the charges:

The 46-year-old pop star is facing judgment on 10 counts, stemming from events that allegedly took place with a 13-year-old boy two years ago:

four counts of lewd conduct with a child younger than 14;

one count of attempted lewd conduct;

four counts of administering alcohol to facilitate child molestation;

one count of conspiracy to commit child abduction, false imprisonment or extortion.
