Hi, thought I would jump in here as I'm a newbie too. My name is Sarah-Louise (duh) and I'm 22. I do not have anything vaguely artistic to add to the thread, sorry!

Your artwork is really beautiful, Carei!

Your pictures are simply beautiful! I love the colors and the detail. Some of the best I've seen. Put a smile on my face on a Monday morning

You are quite talented. Thank you so much for sharing and welcome.

Those who were there from day one are really lucky, so I'm always interested in what people have to say... 'Rhiannon' was the very first song of Stevie's that ever heard, and even as a child, it knocked me out! Stevie has been one of my greatest inspirations, so as an art student, her presence is always in my work

Claudia (from Dreams) was sweet enough to post some of my artwork on her website, and I also sold my first art print of my Stevie painting

If anyone is interested in seeing my artwork, I'd be more than happy to post them.....

I haven't been online all day, and I just wanted to thank everyone for your wonderful comments

It makes me really happy to know that fellow Stevie fans like my stuff, especially since there aren't many people I know who really love Stevie's music like I do. My friend and I share this common bond.

Here's a pretty funny story.... this really cute guy in my class, who never paid much attention to me before cause I'm little (I'm only 5ft, he's gotta be over 6ft!) Well he loves Stevie, thinks she's really pretty, and when he found out that I draw her, he would never leave me alone

.... and then this kid says that I remind him of Stevie, his exact words : "now every time I think of Stevie, I'll think of you..." God, I was sooo embarassed! But I was practically MELTING in my seat!! I don't really look totally like her, there are some similarities though.... Anyway I thought I'd share that with everyone.

And to Melanie, you should definitely keep drawing! Your mission this week is to go out and buy a sketchbook and a set of Micron ink pens

, and if you do a little bit every night, you'll have the whole book filled by the end of the summer

Thanks, you guys ROCK!!!
