I felt up Stevie Nicks

ok, well, not like that...

but there i am tonight in Mansfield at the end of the stage... and she starts her walk around during "edge", touching and greeting the fans... when, she finally makes it up to me... she grabs my right hand and holds it for like 5 seconds, then lets go of it... then she grabs my left hand and holds it for another 5 seconds... and while that's going on, i start rubbing her forearm ever so gently with my right hand... then when she lets go of my left hand, i touch her other arm (i really wanted to give her a hug, but anway).... at that point, i felt i was being a bit greedy with all this touching, so i backed off... but to be able to just "feel" her for more than just a second was unbelievable... she's such a beautiful woman.. god, i love her...

Someday I'm going to do a poll here... "Who HASN'T Touched Stevie?"

Actually, I'm really happy for you... I can't keep track of how many shows you've seen recently, but I'm glad you're having a good time.

yeah, i was being a total "Hand Hog" tonight... but i figured it was the only time I would ever get an opportunity to spend more than 1 second with Stevie, so i was milking it..

It struck me last night how beloved Stevie is. You know, for the encore there was only one song for her while there is usually two. So when the lights came up there was this huge, collective "AWWW". It was pretty wild. The cheers she gets when she comes out, or when she does a little twirl are huge. This was all especially apparent juxtaposed with Don's subdued fans. While everyone was up for Stevie, people were in their seats for Don. Part of this may be because his songs are often so mellow. And the other part is he just doesn't rock like our Stevie, who does?

But no really that's so awesome! She grabbed both of my hands in Vegas and kissed my thumb! I know that feeling, there's nothing like it. I was frozen for like 5 minutes.
