Excellent review Buddy... Thanks. I loved the way you described the fans during the Edge walk... That is so cool that people ended up at the stage even with the tight security.... There's no stopping the sea of love!!

A couple of more tidbits (sorry I keep thinking of these details and need to share). Stevie was playful during this show. At one point she was at her mike, the lights went on quickly and off again and she said "oh we're in the dark, that's ok, I can sing in the dark and chuckled". At the end of the show Stevie, Henley and her band took their bow in a long row,arm in arm. It reminded me of a bow after a broadway show until they started playing footsie. Stevie started it with those diamond studded rebocks! I saw this happen during the Say You Will concerts too.

Great review. Exactly how I felt about the show, especially this part . . . "Henley's band was EXCELLENT, very tight. You can tell he must be a perfectionist! Too bad he didn't introduce them. He seems kind of stiff, not the kind of guy you would want to bring to a party, the exact opposite of Stevie!
Stevie came out for Hotel California and thunder struck...the place went wild!!!" I didn't notice any chemistry b/t Don & Stevie, but she had chemistry with her band & the audience. Philly being the first show, we didn't know what to expect, but all of the sudden the crowd when crazy when Don was singing Hotel California & my husband said, "What's going on?" & I said that Stevie came out. And I was kind of shocked seeing Stevie hugging all over Don since the only one that I'd seen her hugging live & on tape was Lindsey. She was very playful, very flirty with Don, & I guess he just didn't get it, or wasn't interested in playing back. At least Lindsey does play back & they do have a certain chemistry on stage.  This is just my observation.Lee

I do feel the piano was too "plunky" on 'Beauty And The Beast' and took away from Stevie's fine reading of it; the pianist is excellent but his playing was too plodding on BATB; it threw Stevie off a little holding the extended note on 'i've changed' though she took a deep breath and recovered and held it on the 2nd try....she has some new, very energetic vocal 'words she punches' during 'Enchanted' which makes this the best 'Enchanted' i've heard from her yet, on this tour. A very fine higher-register note was held at the very end of 'Rhiannon' but the place was screaming so loud i can't remember as much detail as i'd like. what i loved so much about 'Hotel Cal' and 'NYM' was that for the first time in so long, Stevie is singing way up in her higher register and sounding so close to her 'Rumours'/'Tusk' era voice, she CAN do it and it improves her sound so much! During her solo set i think the lowered keys of the songs returned pretty much, most notably on SDMHA, and hearing the notes she hit with such finesse on HC and NYM made the return to her lower range seem needless. She did introduce Waddy as ''the man in my life" and was very up and high energy. A wonderful concert.
